If trans males have no advantage, why are only males breaking womens records and not the other way around?

Is there's a point where a transitioning male's physiology becomes equivalent to a females? How would one determine this? Are there medical standards, a clearing process? If a transitioned woman is cleared to participate in women's sports (if that's how it works), could she theoretically cut back on her hormone therapy to resume natural testosterone production and essentially cheat? There's lots I don't know. It's clear trans issues aren't going away so I hope it gets resolved fairly so everyone is happy and can move on.

shareLikewise. I've yet to encounter a trans (thank goodness) but know a friend who knows another that is supposedly trans. The worst I've seen is people using pronouns beside their name and acknowledging they're on indigenous land. Pronoun thing I can deal with since it's just the text and they don't force me to use it (they stick with names). The latter just makes me cringe though.
