So, you are saying that criminal prosecutions should be made with political motives in mind?

That's not surprising. There are many people that loved Trump even before he ran for President. He successfully made people love him for the rich and fancy businessman he is, which is exactly what he wanted. They support his ego at all costs.

I've been warning Libs off from their obsession with Trump for years and most won't listen. Even ones who I used to consider measured, reasonable, people have lost their goddamn minds, a byproduct of letting Trump's words get under their skin, of giving a blowhard power over how they think and feel. You know, the thing children with many years of development ahead of them tend to do.

And specific to this case, all of the counts of record doctoring (which were covered by a non-disclosure agreement, it should be noted, and therefore may not be illegal, not to mention even if they were illegal they're long past the statute of limitations) that supposedly interfered with the 2016 election have dates of occurrence in 2017, months after the election. So... huh? Plus, the indictment doesn't even list an actual viable crime that's "more serious", as Bragg verbally suggested the records adjustments must be covering. Double huh?

All they've done is turn Trump into a modern-day folk hero martyr. Idiots. They've destroyed the party from within with extremist ideology and shot themselves in the foot with their obsession with Trump. Trump's an egocentric narcissist, sure with a mind for business, but only imbeciles would get worked up over this guy, revealing just how emotionally fragile and immature they are. I'm embarrassed for them.

It can't be denied that some people on the Right have become obsessed with Trump and unfathomably idolize him, but that doesn't hold a candle to the scope of power a majority of the Left have granted him with their moronic descent into juvenile delusion, bolstered by several very corrupt news media outlets and key politicians. Democracy is in peril, but it's in fact they who are responsible for it. Yet they're clueless about what they've done, projecting their own failings onto perceived enemies, letting emotion overrule reason.

Shame on them. But also shame on those on the Right who in turn let the insanity of the Left, along with Trump, get under their skin as well to the extent that January 6th, 2021 happened. Those waking up on the Left are distancing themselves, but far too many are stuck in a narrowly scoped mindset of groupthink and bias that's continuing to escalate on both sides of the ideological aisle.

And while Trump is partially responsible for what's happening to him by relentlessly taunting the Left with grammatically questionable inflammatory rhetoric, they are no better for letting him and Big Left Media turn them into blithering, nonsensical dolts.

It's time to put these children into timeout, and for the adults to take charge again.
