To those of you here who think 'woke' or LGBT presence in public life is too much....
What exactly are your proposed political solutions for this? What should happen?

However from a moral standpoint, rational, sane, objective people should be shutting these people down and putting them in their places, they should be calling these woke SJW’s or whatever out on their bullshit but most are too afraid to.

I didn’t propose anyone cancel anything, I said that people need to stand up to these morons and tell them they are perpetuating crazy shit.
I think that schools should be open and honest about what they are teaching their kids and not try to “trick” them. And it shouldn’t be the job of the school to talk about those things, that is the parents job.

I disagree here. Schools have to be aware of this stuff, and help inform in the teenage years. Having kids go through school with the school literally not mentioning LGBT people until 18 is genuinely absurd. share
Why? People send their children to school to learn how to read, do math, etc. The parents should have the right to have that discussion with their child whenever they want, right now we literally have schools teaching 1st graders how to masturbate and have books in the school library on the subject. It’s disgusting and it’s child abuse. There’s a time and a place for everything. You seem to see yourself as a victim and I think you need to get over yourself. I work in the school system, there is literally no prejudice against LGBTQ people.

Ummm pretty sure they are going to figure out that there are people out there who dress like the other gender. I literally never had a single teacher teach me what sex was, hell even my parents wouldn’t and I was able to figure it out.

Because some children are being abused that doesn’t mean that you take children to transgender dragshows, have sexually explicit books in the library and teach 7 year olds how to masturbate.

When have I said anything about 7 year olds? 13 year olds at upwards. Sex education at schools also produces lower teenage pregnancy rates.

You asked me what we should be standing up to, and I said people trying to force radical left gender theory on children and then you defended it (or at least it seems like you did)

shareThat wasn’t what I was talking about and I was never against “sex education”. You see this is what the left does, they try to force something radical and obscene on children in schools then when they get blowback from it they pretend that the other side is opposing something rational (which it isn’t). Example: There was a case where an explicit book about the Holocaust was taken out of a school library and some on the left said that the right wanted to ban the teaching of the holocaust (which they didn’t). Or some people had a problem with critical race theory and then the left said that they wanted to ban the teaching of the civil rights movement (which they didn’t)

Forgive me if I thought you were proposing the abolition of all sex education in schools.
I didn’t, what I do have a problem with is teachers teaching 7 year olds how to masturbate and for reading sexually explicit materials to them. Teaching about sex at an appropriate age where parents have the option to have their children pulled from the class is one thing. Teaching 7 years olds about masturbation, teachers talking about their own sexuality and pronouns and spending an incredibly disproportionate time talking about different sexualities, and school counselors telling biological females to identify as males and not tell their parents is another thing. Again I bring you back to my original point, the left proposes insane ideas, the right blows back against them and then the left mischaracterizes it and makes it sound like the right is blowing back against something rational.

There’s a difference between traditional sex education where parents have the right to opt their child out and radical gender theory where 7 year olds are taught to masturbate, counselors tell children to identify as the other gender, and teachers talk about their own sexuality/pronouns and the school district teaches teachers how to “trick” parents into signing off on this.
