Fifty-eight percent of coronavirus deaths in August were people who were vaccinated or boosted, according to an analysis conducted for The Health 202 by Cynthia Cox, vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation.

It’s a continuation of a troubling trend that has emerged over the past year. As vaccination rates have increased and new variants appeared, the share of deaths of people who were vaccinated has been steadily rising. In September 2021, vaccinated people made up just 23 percent of coronavirus fatalities. In January and February this year, it was up to 42 percent, per our colleagues Fenit Nirappil and Dan Keating.

“We can no longer say this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Cox told The Health 202.

Morale of the story here is to be forever boosted and maybe you won't get sick but for sure (maybe?) you won't die also.

If ,say ,90% f the people were vaccinated then thats a clear indication the vaccine helped .

I should probably lose a lot of weight and get in shape. That looks like possibly the single biggest factor in whether you need to be hospitalized. That and age, but can't do anything about how old I am.

Why are there a shit ton of more "covid deaths", per capita, since the Clot Shot rollout vs. all of 2020 before it existed?

Also, why am I still alive? Shouldn't I be dead by now? Why haven't I died? I was told I'd surely be a goner if I didn't get the failed product injected in me... WHY AM I STILL ALIVE?

What a weird take. Taking the vaccine never guaranteed immortality. I mean, if I was in a gunfight, wearing a bullet proof vest wouldn’t guarantee my survival, but I’d rather have it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Imagine a sinking ship - 100 people left floating in the sea.
10 of them , Republicans , refuse a life jacket because it doesn't guarantee not drowning, and they dont let the man tell them what to do.

Half of them drown - the ones without lifejackets go first obviously

Headline on Fox news:
80% of the drowning deaths had lifejackets on.
Only 20% of the drowned people were un life jacketed.

Your assumption here is that none of the people not wearing life jackets made it which isn't the case for those unvaxxed.

True, lets say 2/3 unjacketed drown and 1/3 jacketed.

Headline: 36 drowned ! 83% were wearing lifejackets
Conclusion: lifejackets kill!

If 100% of people were vaccinated, then 100% of the deaths from Covid would be vaccinated people.
If you think about that a little maybe you will understand it.

So much for it working eh? Was first they say it'll prevent you getting sick then they say it prevents you from dying and yet here we are, they still dying bruh. China's perfect storm.

They never said the vaccine would prevent you from getting Covid, or getting sick.

The point is that even if everyone were vaccinated, there would still be some deaths.
The point you are deliberated missing is that the number of deaths would be extremely tiny compared to if no one was vaccinated.

Also, if everyone were vaccinated, there would be less mutations and long-Covid as well.

Coming online soon is another new way to generate a vaccine like the older vaccines where they include the full genome of the virus so the body can latch on to it and its mutations more fully. This would be another huge technological leap that would attack even mutations and variants.
