America and England was worried as hell that Russia and communists were going to take over.
There were communists and socialist parties in Germany, and pretty much all over the world,
as the business abuses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries were many - and they outright
murdered people who tried to be social activists in defense of the regular people.

I.e socialists. The socialists and communists were gaining ground in these countries, and Hitler came along and made deals with the Industrialists that he would help them smash the socialists, and communists - but mostly the labor unions, so they could go back to terrorizing workers and forcing them to work as long and for as little as they wanted.

Hitler's message resonated with the Socialists, but when he got elected he cracked down on socialist and communist parties and outlawed labor unions. Then he outright murdered the real socialists in the national socialist party, and then to top it off he blew off the industrialists too and Nationalized their companies and became the dictator.

By the way, a lot of what Hitler thought came from American thinking of the day, which is why he had so many corporate and financial supporters in American business. America wanted the same things are the Nazis, to undercut democracy and smash American unions as well, which is why we wait all those years to jump into WWII when it was known that Hitler was going to lose against Russia.

Only then did the UK and US really invade - they wanted maximum damage to Russia first. Then the US took over the world, and all the money, oligarchs and interests migrated here to begin it all over again. FDR was for the man in the street, and he was the closest to socialist than any President ever got.

Americans do not even understand any of our own history, and are wrapped up in silly discussions about Nazis being socialists ... without any real facts or understanding.
