"If my children are in school and a mad man with a gun comes to a school to kill people, unfortunately a psychologist is not going to be able to just talk him out of it," she said in a conversation with Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland. "That is not a good way to protect kids."

Asked by Raskin whether she thinks the students should be armed, Greene said, "I think children should be trained with firearms."

"I think that's very important," she added.

TBF, a few decades ago when God was in more people's lives... high schools had rifle clubs, and shootings were non-existent.

So you're against education??? I was 5yrs old when I first learned to shoot. By the time I was 8, I had an airgun and didn't need instruction on how to be responsible with it. Once I was in my early teens, I was a successful hunter and could clean and cook the game I killed. Maybe you assholes should get out more and stop projecting your candy ass limitations onto others???

I always know when Greene is doing something right, liberal panties are in a wad over something she said.

What did you get out of her statement? She said that teaching kids to use firearms would help in school shootings. That's her answer. Teaching them to use firearms doesn't do much good if they don't have guns to use in those situations.
