America ( adjusting for population) has 3x the covid deaths of Canada.

its a good comparison because many of the variables you would want to control for are the most similar between these two North American neighbours. versus comparing say the US to Japan. so can someone explain how mandates and precautions haven't worked given this data?

3x as many Americans have died of covid (adjusting for population) compared to Canadians. This seems like a stunning result that shows lessoning transmission and burden on hospitals leads to a far lower death rate.

you don't even need to apply this to just covid, apply it to any infectious disease and its pretty obvious why lowering infection and transmission and hospital burden, would lower death rate. its not a Faucci conspiracy, its basic reality.

The vaccine also has clearly been effective given this data when it comes to deaths of the vaccinated vs unvaccinated.

the vaccine doesn't work only if you don't understand vaccines, and assume it has to work exactly like the MMR vaccine and that all virus types are vaccinated the same way with he same results. Which they are not

Covid is part of the SARS family. and given how fast it mutates compared to measles as well as the protein and how it infects. it means we can have a seemingly totally effective vaccine for it. while the vaccines we receive for our average influenza strains that we get vaccinated for every year, operate the same as the covid vaccine. ie temporary protection lessoning symptoms, not complete seeming immunity.

Ijsut like covid, with these other vaccines and virus, you aren't really fully immune, you can still contract these viruses, even spread them. and like the influenza sars vaccine, the elderly, sick or immune compromised may also require more shots and boosters of these vaccines that the conspiracy theorist claim are "the real vaccines where you need a single dose and you are immune!". while not understanding them at all.

If you do not understand this either look it up, or wonder why some viruses we can basically totally wipe out and immunize to, while plenty of other viruses over the years we haven't. This isn't a conspiracy. its science.

the vaccines only don't work if you don't understand vaccines and think something has to be a completely effective 100 shield, or else it is completely ineffective. Rather if you think about the vaccine as a seatbelt, it makes sense.

you won't guaranteed be okay vs not wearing a seatbelt. But you sure as hell have a better chance of surviving and are given some protection

It might be a decent comparison but there are several important differences. Canada has a single payer health system while the US is a for-profit just-in-time hospital system. The racial breakdown is different enough that an accurate comparison may not be possible.

The vaccine clearly does not work as advertised. There wouldn't be further boosters if the vaccine worked and I would say that 95% efficacy would be an acceptable standard. Pfizer never released their trial data and they are fighting in court to avoid releasing their vaccine data in a FOIA request that was made to the FDA.

I wouldn't trust any data from a hospital about the pandemic being a pandemic of the vaccinated. Many of the prestigious doctors who have spoken out about the covid vaccines have been fired or disciplined. David McCullough and Robert Malone face heavy criticism for their views. An Israeli doctor recently said that 70-80% of the serious covid cases in his hospital are vaccinated.

The US is getting to the point where citizens need to carry a gun to survive. If the police aren't going to show up to protect citizens, citizens need to arm themselves.

The US hospital system isn't as bad as you suggest but I contend that it isn't as good as a single payer system. In the US, a random person off the street can go to an emergency room to get treatment BUT a lot of illegal aliens use the emergency rooms as their primary care provider so many emergency rooms are backed up. The US also has an unhealthy diet of sugar and fat so that would negatively impact health outcomes.

Medicaid is a US program that covers poor people and Medicare is a US program that helps old people. It's not accurate to say only people with money can get health care. My only complaint is that the US health care system is complicated since there is a lot of paperwork and the insurance company will often deny claims for reimbursement. US News rated the US 22nd out of 78 countries in healthcare.

I don't trust many organizational reports since people get compensation and promotions based on the numbers. There is always an effort by people in the organization to make the numbers look better. That's why I prefer to see information from independent sources. The mainstream media cannot be relied upon to report on the drug companies since they receive advertising dollars from the big pharma companies. Similarly, hospitals rely on grant money and Fauci controls the disbursement of grant money. I challenge you to find fault with my sources.

You failed to prove that the AG is a lying partisan politician who is bought and paid for by donors. All politicians receive donations for their political campaigns. The McDonnell v. US 579 US case determined that a payment to a politician has to be tied to a specific official act in order
for the politician to be guilty of bribery. You can't prove that he is a lying partisan politician bought and paid for. You can't substantiate your lies.

The AG claims that the political writer is not a credentialed journalist so we'll see how this plays out in court. Public officials are sued all the time so it's not a big deal. I'm glad the journalist is getting his day in court.

The original point of my post was to say that government reports could not be trusted and the AG with 10 years of government experience also shared that view. Not true. There is a different flu shot each year because that virus mutates. The same with Covid. The flu vaccine isn't 100% effective against transmission. While short-term side effects are known, the long-term side effects of these vaccines will appear in time.
