Biden weighs sending thousands of troops to counter Russia

President Biden is considering sending a few thousand troops to Eastern Europe and the Baltic States as part of a broader NATO effort to bolster NATO allies that border Russia and Ukraine, given recent tensions, Fox News confirms.

Advisors presented Biden with various options to respond to Russia's aggressive stance in Eastern Europe in a Sunday briefing at Camp David. The president is considering sending 3,000-5,000 U.S. troops to Romania and to Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia as part of a broader NATO effort. Other NATO countries may also contribute troops to warn Russian President Vladimir Putin not to try to move into neighboring countries.

Russia has not potential to be a superpower. It's GDP is only 1/10 that of China. China's population is 1.4 billion and it's economy is growing fast.

And all is quiet on the leftist front! Where are you Ultraviolet? You blamed Trump for not getting out of Afghanistan soon enough. You lauded Biden for finally doing it even though he cost American lives when he did. But, that was OK with you because it was Biden at the helm. I’m sure you will have a positive take on this decision of Biden’s. What a hypocrite you are!

Except we're talking NATO troops which don't invade.

This is a wedge issue. Not just between parties, but within each party.

It seems like half of dems and half of repubs want NATO to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine, and the other half of dems and repubs want to stay out of it.
