U.S. Deer have Covid
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/article/wild-us-deer-found-with-coronavirus-antibodies
shareIt’s worse! They’re not wearing masks!
shareThank you so much for the laugh! I needed it. 😅😂🤣 I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and I have a Cat 4 hurricane coming at me! My little dog and I are evacuating to a local motel away from the coast. I’m sick to my stomach because I had to empty my freezer & fridge of over $200.00 worth of food to be trashed. For the last 1 1/2 years we’ve had several tropical storms and now our 2nd major hurricane within less than a year.
Zeta in Oct. 2020 peeled part of my metal roof back like a tuna can. Completely shredded my front porch screening which I just had replaced 5 days earlier from Cristobol in June. Over $2,000 I paid to replace twice. It ain’t getting replaced again! I’m moving back to Central Florida where major hurricanes are an anomaly!
Thanks again for the chuckle! ☺️
Corona viruses are common and always have been. Corona viruses have caused the common cold in humans for thousands of years.
shareSorry, I don’t have time to read…prepping for a Cat 4 hurricane. I wonder if there is a way to extract the antibodies from the deer in order to help humans.
shareHope you're doing ok. Let us know when you can that you're alright
shareMy little Yorkie and I are currently in a motel. I had to pack much so loading and unloading has exhausted me. I brought all of her things which is a huge amount. Her kennel, bed, toys, food, treats, etc. I made reservations for 6 days because I was without power for 6 days last year with hurricane Zeta.
I can understand why some don’t evacuate. It’s very expensive. People were begging for rooms which none were left in LA, MS. I made my reservations very early Friday morning. I live on US 90 across the street from the gulf. During storms like these the storm surge makes the road part of the gulf! I’m going to venture out tomorrow to check on my house.
Thanks for your well wishes. My inconvenience is nothing compared to what those folks in Louisiana are going through. I feel so sorry for them.
Glad you're ok! I hate hurricanes. After Katrina and Rita I never wanted to go through that again. Moved out west and it's Wildfires! My sky has been filled with smoke for a month and half now and the Dixie fire is over 700,000 acres. My insurance people hate me cause I filed a claim when ash was raining for a week. Waiting on that check now. Hope your home is ok and if not hope you've got hurricane/flood insurance
shareWe have to have flood insurance with a mortgage. It’s so costly I wouldn’t buy it if I was mortgage free. I would just walk away. It’s over $3000.00 and only covers 250K. The wind insurance is just as costly. This is why the three counties on Mississippi’s coast were almost barren except for slab lots. People didn’t have flood insurance so they couldn’t afford to rebuild. They just walked away.
As soon as I sell I’m moving back to Central Florida where major hurricanes are an anomaly. As it turned out I had minor damage this time. Three panels of my porch screening needs to be replaced. Third time in less than a year. We didn’t have to stay the 6 days so I checked out today after 2 days and came home. So many people need a room who weren’t as fortunate as me.
BTW, do you think Biden will do a visit to the devastation or will he do a “fly over”? If he doesn’t go or does a fly over you won’t hear a peep from the alt-left! Frankly I don’t believe the POTUS should visit on the ground. There’s enough chaos in a disaster area. The logistics of having the POTUS visit is an added burden not needed. I think a fly over is the best way.
Glad your home isn't damaged too bad! Yeah I'm not looking forward to dealing with Hurricanes again when I move to the Gulf coast of Texas but I'm so sick of these fires.
Biden will make some green screen comments and walk out on questions
Texas is the place to move! I wish we had never left. Great place to live! We lived in Garland a suburb of Dallas. Low cost living with good salaries. A road system to beat all others. They saw the future and built before they were needed. The one important thing about Texas is if you can’t find a job in Texas you aren’t looking very hard!
shareOnly the asshole deer in Jersey.
shareI can definitely say the deer around my house aren't social distancing.
