Arguably, the two most "communist" policies we have in USA are Social Security and Medicare.
GOP has had at least one chamber of Congress for 22 of the last 26 years. (And I'm not even counting Reagan and his GOP Senate.)
Where's the vote to eliminate SS and Medicare?
It doesn't have to be today, it doesn't have to be next year. What about eliminating these for anyone born after today?
Not just young people either. More like naive people. Plenty of geezers and boomers believe in the communist Democrat media/party.
How many times have Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, Danny Glover, Jane Fonda, sold us on how great some communist shithole is because they were there for 5 minutes and were given lunch at the Ritz Carlton and they presented that as the norm.

It's a Stupid Assertion to say Young People are Seduced by Communism, and it's a subtle way to insinuate that anything other than the current headlong rush to material consumerism and stepping on anyone in your path to getting ahead in financial status is perfectly okay. Let's let the poor be poor and the rich be rich and let all the mechanisms of US society encourage a dog eat dog mentality without a thought toward compassion and marshaling the wealth of this nation to make the world a better place. No, let's make obdurate and noxious arguments to allow more guns, more wealth inequality, and continue the status quo.
Sorry if I grew up with Christian values and assumed we were trying to help the poor among us. Smart people can help us do this, but other smart people don't want us to, because then they can have MORE so the rest of us get less. So you might want to call me a Commie but I prefer to think of myself as a Christian.
