shareTed Cruz is one of the most repugnant people that exist with an almost irresistibly punchable hideous face and I detest every moment I have a thought about him in my brain, but, I think if anyone had the money and resources to get outta Dodge in a disaster they would do it.
This is one of those things Democrats get roped into trying to make a big deal about, that is either not a big deal or just something to mention and pass by. Making a deal about of it just bounces back on Democrats and makes their image associated with trivial stuff instead of the really important stuff that they have not gotten done in 30 years now.
Don't tell me about Ted Cruz's vacation, get to work on the Covid Aid Bill, or Universal Health Care, or something important. I guess it's OK to mention it, but focusing on a creepy thing a politician does when the people who elected him elected him for some other reason - it is a waste. You need to cut into the people who idolize him, and chances are they don't care when or where he goes on vacation as long as he votes FOR tax cuts and AGAINST abortion. Ted Cruz could eat fried baby faces for breakfast with his fingers every morning and Republicans would still vote for him ... enthusiastically.
