*Membership in KKK or other hate group
*Voting is denied/suppressed based on race
*Your race is paid lower wages
*Your race is omitted from history books.
*Your race is denied opportunities in education, high-paying jobs, housing, loans, etc.
Politians have a long history if using "dog whistles" to appeal to racists which is thriving in the U.S..
