Data shows that almost 50% of people who were killed by police were people who had some degree of disabilty. Stats also show 1/3 of people who were killed by police were Aboriginal. Yet, people are told that saying "All Lives Matter" is racist and "were talking about black lives right now". It's almost like it's some sort of fad.

When you actually look into it, Arrest Related Deaths aren't at all uncommon... they're so common that BLM could have a new person every week (heck every day) if they wanted to. The problem is that people actually get used to stuff like that happening when you're exposed to how often it happens so the impact of the movement declines. It's similar to why you don't have every murder reported... after a while humans stop caring.
So yes, BLM is focusing on a tiny part of a much bigger problem because THAT is how you hold human attention.
I'm not sure if you watch NHL hockey, but yesterday the league was called racist for not boycotting games like they were doing in the NBA. The NHL even did an anti-racism video before the start of the game but people still complained that they were racist. In other words, they wanted the NHL to boycott their games or else they would be called racist.
It doesn't make sense to me, though. If the NHL donated an insane amount of money to some anti-racism organization, are they still racist? The reason is simple, and it's because of what you said: it's a fad. The NBA players decided that day that they were going to boycott, and because the NHL didn't immediately follow suit (being a follower), they were accused of racism.
