Biden tells Charlamagne Tha God: If you don't support me 'then you ain't black'

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/499128-biden-tells-charlamagne-tha-god-if-you-dont-support-me-then-you-aint-black

Former Vice President Joe Biden defended his record on race to Charlamagne Tha God on the popular radio show "The Breakfast Club" on Friday, at one point telling the host that if you support President Trump “then you ain’t black.”

The GOP super PAC America Rising circulated the clip, and the exchange blew up in conservative social media.

“White liberal elitists have continuously dictated which black Americans are allowed to come to the table and have a voice,” said Kartrina Pierson, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign and leader of its Black Voices for Trump group.

“It is clear now more than ever, following these racist and dehumanizing remarks, that Joe Biden believes black men and women are incapable of being independent or free thinking. He truly believes that he, a 77-year-old white man, should dictate how black people should behave. Biden has a history of racial condescension and today he once again proved what a growing number of black Americans and I have always known — Joe Biden does not deserve our votes.”

reply

Biden now regrets his comments. 🙄
I'm sure all will be forgiven now.

reply

Over a million black Americans voted for Trump.

For all the BS braying about Trump supposedly being a "racist", despite him never saying or doing anything racially bigoted, Biden is a truly bigoted moron who just called all of those people, and respected leaders like Senator Tim Scott, Colonel Allen West, Dr. Ben Carson, Candace Owens, Sheriff David Clarke, Herschel Walker, Floyd Mayweather, Katrina Pierson, and many others as not truly "black", dehumanizing them and attacking them on the basis of skin color as sell outs to their race.

Creepy Joe has somehow managed to become even more disgusting than ever before.

reply

My preliminary interpretation of Biden's remarks suggest that he was referring to the black experience, not necessarily the skin color itself. People who have undergone the "black experience" know what the life of many black people in the United States is like and all the quirks and challenges it has. Biden is trying to say that people who vote Democrat understand this experience and that's why they vote the way they do. If they don't, then they don't understand this cultural viewpoint.

At least, that's the way I see it right now....

reply

Or Biden is playing them still for a fool.

reply

Biden would never think that deeply. He can barely put a coherent sentence together.

But even if that was what he was trying to say, BIG FAIL. He insulted so many black Americans in that one sentence. You can even say he was bullying them IF they didn't vote for him.
But like he told Americans, if you don't like me, vote for the other guy, ok fat?

reply

You are the one insulting black Americans in that they know Biden and they know rump and they can call a Spade a Spade. rump is a seriously effed up person, Biden has been a good friend to Americans and Blacks for a long time, and Black people won't be insulted because a well-meaning Joe got over-exuberant while the evil Donny plays a political card game with the voting public. Bluff called.

reply

Good thing blacks aren't as stupid as you are!

reply

So Alice Johnson, who was released from prison after decades when Trump commuted her sentence as a prelude to the First Step Act which released many more convicts from prison, doesn't understand "the black experience" because she's pro Trump?

What reprehensible nonsense. That hogwash would be moronic even if you're talking about someone like Larry Elder or Jason Reilly, conservatives who get attacked by bigots for things like "talking white" because they're bright and well spoken, get called "Uncle Toms", and have suffered a lot more slings and arrows because of their skin color than most Democrat blacks have.

reply

You nailed it! To the lefties any Black who votes republican is an Uncle Tom. Three guesses who is keeping them on that Plantation...it ain’t Trump!

We have, to the country’s betterment, many Black conservatives. The most bigoted people are Black Democrats along with whites who hate being white when it’s an election year. Recall Gore speaking at a Black church? Hillary, also. Their whole manner of speaking was changed, the dialect, the vernacular, the way they moved...so damn phony! What a show they put on! I expected them at any moment to break into a Black minstrel!

This is what Ebony magazine thinks of our great Black minds.

”Every year, the black monthly magazine Ebony lists its "Power 100," defined as those "who lead, inspire and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in Black America." Each year Clarence Thomas is conspicuously absent. Apparently, as a sitting black justice on the Supreme Court of the United States, Thomas does not "lead, inspire and demonstrate ... the very best in Black America.

Ebony not only excludes Clarence Thomas but also shuts out prominent conservatives Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams.”

reply

You're right. It's disgusting. Brando Starkey, an author celebrated by Democrats and a bigoted idiot, even wrote a book a few years ago called In Defense of Uncle Tom: Why Blacks Must Police Racial Loyalty.

https://www.amazon.com/Defense-Uncle-Tom-Blacks-Loyalty/dp/1107668344

As the title suggests, he argues that the despicable epithet is necessary for "policing racial loyalty". That sounds like something a Nazi would say, but such thinking and rhetoric is increasingly pervasive on the loud left.

reply

”That sounds like something a Nazi would say, but such thinking and rhetoric is increasingly pervasive on the loud left.“

Well, the Black Panthers are as evil as Hitler’s henchmen. Along with the new Brown Shirts...Antifa!

Dear Lord, I’m aghast after reading the reviews. I firmly believe it’s the race war lords keeping bigotry and division going. Obama was one of the worse bigots to sit in the Oval office with the Congressional Black Caucus propping him up. Racial divide is worse now due to Obama...not Trump. Obama came from a church which promoted hatred toward “Whitey”. He had to disassociate himself from the “pastor” and his vile sermons. To truly know Obama read his book “ Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance”.

To put it in a nut shell...if a Black man or woman rises up to greatness, but is a conservative, they are labeled “Uncle Toms”. How despicable! How disgusting!

reply

Tramp only released her and others b/c Kanye kisses his ass! Remember, to get anything from tramp, you have to kiss his ass and sing his praises!

reply

Biden claims "you ain't black" if you don't vote for him. Your spin falls pitifully short.

reply

Meaning you ain't Black if you support a white racist like tramp!!!

reply

We know Biden is a racial bigot. I've never heard or seen Trump say anything racially bigoted.

reply

No, he meant exactly what he said. He was speaking to a Black man telling him “If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black”

It had nothing to do with “black experience”! Here’s a dimwit White man telling a Black man he’s not Black if he votes for Trump! The audacity of that statement is beyond the pale! Who in the hell does Biden think he is...telling a Black man he’s not Black! Why didn’t he tell him what was the true meaning of that statement... Charlamagne Tha God is an Uncle Tom if he votes for Trump!

reply

No Black person in his right mind would vote for rump. That's obvious to anyone with a 5th grade education.
Of course, some will, but that's because they are only concerned with their personal bottom line and not what is best for America going forward.

reply

You must be Biden's script writer. If not, you'll get paid more than trolling the interwebs.

reply

I totally agree with you aliensalmon.

reply

He was referencing black culture, not skin color. It would be like saying Herman Cain isn't really black.

It's also a sentiment often repeated in the black community. Are repubs saying it's only okay for black people to say it? Hmmmm.

reply

It's bigoted, moronic, and disgusting regardless of who says it, and it's sick that you think it's ok to say it about Herman Cain.

It's even worse when Biden says voting for him is the arbiter of whether someone is truly black or not.

You don't have to be a mindless hack who spins everything, ultravioletx. Sometimes it's ok to criticize your own guy. On a related note, you haven't replied on this thread yet:

reply

Left keep shooting themselves in the foot. Every time when Trump makes himself look bad, the left does a one up to remind everyone why voting left isn't as great as you think it is.

reply

And now here come Republicans to swoop in and attempt their own "if you vote Democrat you ain't black" coup.

No different.

reply

If you don’t vote Democrat, you ain’t no communist.

reply

Only two kinds of people think this is racist:

1. Soft liberals, of which there are many now.
2. Republicans just using this as an opportunity to pounce.

You have to be world-class stupid if you think this was anything more than a very awkward man - who is arguably senile - and definitely a very bad speaker, trying to be cool or funny. Biden is a moron, but this in no way "proves" that he is "racist".

reply

This. A very poor choice of words is all that happened here.

reply

The term “racist” has been watered down to a point of meaning nothing. Thank the communist Democrat party/media/lemming thought police.

When you have no ideas, no solutions, you resort to constantly identifying as a victim and constantly changing the rules to keep labeling yourself a victim. The worthless Democrat party.

reply

Or
3. A clear demonstration of identity politics, which is definitely inherently racist.

reply

"Biden is a moron, but this in no way "proves" that he is "racist"."

Yet Trump is called racist on a daily basis for much, much less.

The media is tripping over themselves to make excuses for him, similar to what you wrote.

Do I think Biden is racist? No, not really. But what a stark difference in reaction to the things he gets away with saying in comparison to Trump saying much less and getting hammered for it. I'd just like to see some fairness.
Do I think his comments were going too far? Absolutely! He insulted many, many black conservative/republican Americans!

So sure the right is going to pounce on this.

reply

"They insulted our guy, so it's ok!"

Stop it.

reply

You missed the whole point.

reply

"Shithole countries"? "Build that wall against all the murderers, drug dealers and rapists"? "There are good people on both sides" during a white power assault? Pardoning Joe Arpaio after him being convicted of being a power-wielding racist?

Is this rump saying much less?

reply

Shithole Denier!

reply

Nice job, Joe, pissing off every black person who ever voted for Trump or turned Independent. Makes you wonder if the other black voters will finally wake up to the fact that they are still slaves of Democraps and living on a different kind of plantation, but I doubt it.

I think one way Trump can stick it to the Left this November is to thank Joe "Dumbass" Biden in his acceptance speech for driving all the disenfranchised voters towards him.

reply

Plenty of time for rump to step on his own tongue and make sure we all understand he is incompetent, incoherent, and driven only by his ego to appear to have a handle on things when he is in hopelessly over his head.
He should be the star in the sequel to Clueless.
