Please help me find this film

I remember watching this in 1985/1986. Could have been released earlier, but it felt like an 80's movie.

All I remember, was alien creatures transforming themselves into human beings by attacking them first. One scene was an alien attacking a policeman at his police car, and they fall to the ground, and next scene you see the alien being the policeman in his skin. That scene was at night time.

Been looking for it forever.

The aliens are creatures, ugly almost Predator type creatures. That's what I remember. Also, I seem to remember a dome.

Your description made me think of The Guyver, but its from 1991 so I doubt that's it. Just thought I'd mention it anyway.

Unfortunately not.

Still looking. Remembering even one actor would help so much, but I just cannot. I was 7 or 8 at the time.

I can't find if there's body-snatching in this one, but the appearance of the alien fits your description.

It's probably not what you're lookin for. I just now see, that there is only one creature, it's not an alien, and definitely not a body-snatcher.

No, had a look. Close in concept. But not it. Those aliens are definitely not the ones I saw all the way back.

Something else I remember regarding the dome I mentioned in a previous post. The dome was massive, white in colour, I think, as it was night time, and it sheltered people from the alien invasion happening outside.

The aliens were ugly, ripped skin off humans and wore the skin, and looked exactly like the humans they are wearing, to blend in.

"Zone Troopers" (1985) contains ugly creatures and human soldiers, but I am not sure your scene, although perhaps it is something similar.

OK. You try else this movie (it isn't ideal like your description, but there are aliens and large dome): "The Bubble (1966)"

None of these fit. It's not about clones. It's about ugly aliens tearing off the skin, you don't see them tearing it off, they are just replacing the humans looking like them.
