and Kubrick was famous for wanting 50 takes
1970: "yeah, I've got this idea for a movie. but, I need to get a reputation for being a perfectionist, so if I get into the habit of doing 30 or 40 takes for a scene..."
Translation (as you said): 'oh shit, I thought people would be buying blue checks, and they aren't. But...but...but...?'
can he start with something basic like getting rid of spam?
I honestly don't see a lot of 'unsavoury' content, but maybe I don't view those profiles (or maybe I do, but I just filter it out as 'this is sh1t'). I have observed that many news outlet accounts don't seem to look at any replies to their xweets, because most of them now seem to be 'moobs in profile'
Here's an opinion - some people won't mind paying a subscription fee to a social network (anything owned by Musk or Meta comes to mind) but they'd want a lot more than each site currently offers - for instance a useable interface and human tech support to talk/email to. If Elon just tries to charge for what's currently available, it's toast
12 month old comment, but if the source is the daily mail..
there is a difference between being a liberal, and believing that there are 15 genders..

I definitely heard Simon Cowell likes eating a burger with her on a Saturday night. that isn't a euphemism. it does sound like one
I know I'm not her target audience, but I've never heard any of her songs, ever. mind you I've only heard one of Bings (I think White Christmas was by him?)
if a bbc headline doesn't have a pun in it that makes you want to remove your eyes, it didn't happen
JK Rowling throws the book at the police
JK Rowling potters about on x
JK Rowling casts a spell on trans people
that sort of thing
ok I'm with you on 3 of them....4?
Brit humour sometimes doesn't work in the States..
no hatred from here, just irritation at the media for headlining her as the saviour
I actually use her as an excuse for not emptying my bin out more regularly
"but the bin liner is half empty, Greta wouldn't approve of us wasting so much plastic"
I read the book aged 14 (or something, but I can remember a lot of it) and saw the film aged 16 (or something, ie I can't really remember it). my only thoughts were that the special effects weren't really around in 1984 to re produce the book properly
yeah gonna say - sha-vawn?
can I add. the title sequence where they fire two arrows and an outhouse blows up - that was a composite. the actual scene where they fired two arrows, the arrows just stick in the target. the blowing up scene was a different....scene. I think, in series 1 (?) they used the real "arrows landing" scene in the title sequence, in S2 they changed it to the blowing up scene....or something
she sings with a very cockney accent. it's quite endearing. if she had anything else decent to say she could probably make some more decent songs
dunno. 11:42pm. she could be off for a shifty down to the local palace street corner to pick up a baggie
that reminds me I need to text her
daughter of Keith Allen
to paraphrase a princess
"it's a wonder she's still alive"
I actually quite like a couple of her tunes. well not the tunes, but the way she sings them
