It's at a 2.3 on Letterboxd as well, and that site is full of the kind of far left SJW's that love these kind of movies. That really says how bad it is. The tears taste delicious! He does. Apparently it's more of a romantic comedy with a slasher element according to reviews than the trailers are leading on. It's left up to interpretation. I loved the movie, but the way it handled the ending I wasn't a fan of. My guess is he committed suicide. I'm honestly kind of surprised to see the negativity on here. I saw this in 3D when it came out in theaters and had a blast. Was just a good ole fun slasher. I thought the trailer looked fun, but I have a feeling Universal is dumping this one. It's a big red flag to me how much of the marketing is trying to focus on Valentines Day. I feel like this is a film where they got a decent cast and hoped it would all just come together while filming it and it just didn't. The really short runtime doesn't bode well with me either, but who knows. Maybe it will end up being alright. Sucks though because I'm really rooting for Huy Quan. Same. Glad to see it get good reviews after the reports of poor test screenings. I only have zero expectations for this giving I'm not a FF fan and the quality of most of Marvel's recent outputs. I won't be shocked if it turns out to be a dud. It's basically more of an extended clip than an actual trailer I guess. I'm guessing too it will probably be more in like with 5 considering that one was much better received than 4. Could be a Gunn fan? Would it? Stallone is a Trump supporter. It's really bad for a Blumhouse movie who is known for being able to turn a profit on cheap budgets even for the lowest quality type of movies. It didn't flop financially, but it did critically. It still underperformed at the box office compared to IV. It's going to be on VOD Tuesday. It will be gone from all theaters by next week. Just watched it and agree. Even with the first one borrowing more plot elements from other films, it was more memorable than this one. Nothing really happened until the last 20 minutes or so. Theaters. Check your area. Probably relying on it to do well on VOD Saw XI will probably be delayed to 2026 as well. They just started working on the script last month. Don't. It's a boring mess of a movie.
