Is the movie good or is it mostly just pandering?
Liberals/Democrats don't actually "hate" this movie
Why was the movie delayed by over 2 months?

Dang, I was about to respond to your post saying that they release a box set years ago but never realized that your post is from 18 years ago! Damn dude, I didn't even realize this forum existed for that long since the IMDb message boards were the main discussion place back then as well as HoJ.
This was released long before Saw IV was even written. Technically, Saw IV contradicted this.
There is a difference between pandering, and simply just making content for a specific audience. I.E, you *can* make content for a specific audience without pandering to them.
If you can't tell the difference, you're likely the one being pandered to.
Dude, how tf was Afterlife a rehash of the '84 movie?
I was someone a part of it from a distance. It didn't only encompass GameStop but it also kicked-off other stocks blowing up too like Blackberry which I was a part of. Unfortunately it came to a screeching halt when Robinhood decided one day to bend the knee to the billionaires and halt trading on all of these stocks until they "stabilize" which caused me (and I assume most other players in this game) to lose a ton of money and essentially be forced to sell.
I don't mind Seth Rogan but Pete Davidson is definitely an odd choice. I guess every casting director makes mistakes though. Otherwise movie looks good.
Thank you, this answers my exact question.
Bro. I'm asking a simple question.
Am I going to be entertained while watching this film or am I going to be lectured to?
I just need a yes or no if this movie is actually funny or not.
Nah, nobody hates these people, they just don't want to waste their time watching a movie that isn't entertaining or supporting actors/writers that aren't good at their job. You're thinking way too deeply into it.
The purpose of a film is entertainment. If it fails to provide that purpose, it's not worth seeing. If it has a political agenda, then it's not entertaining. It doesn't matter if it promotes the right or the left, political pandering is political pandering and should be labeled as such on a film, otherwise it's false advertising for the purpose of a bait-and-switch.
If this movie *isn't* political pandering though, just say so (if you've seen it). That's all I'm trying to find out, if it's written for the purpose of entertainment or for the purpose of being political and whiny.
I'm just asking if this movie is a legitimate comedy written for the purpose of entertainment, or if it's just a political agenda being falsely advertised as a legitimate film.
Have you seen the film?
