Wrong. Dalton played the Bond of the books - a moody bastard, which contrasts brilliantly with Koskov’s jolly villain.
The sniper scene is pure gold, as is the Pushkin almost-assassination scene.

It’s a Netflix series so could go either way. They’ve made plenty of woke crap of course but knocked it out of the park with Cobra Kai.
I’m already a subscriber so I’ll check out the first episode (and see what reliable reviewers like The Critical Drinker have to say).
That was terrible but tbf he has just publicly apologised for it.
Gump, BTTF I and II, and Roger Rabbit are his A-tier films. Timeless classics, perfectly made.
Contact is a very good movie but it’s not as revolutionary or impactful as those groundbreakers. It sits comfortably alongside Cast Away, Romancing The Stone and Beowulf.
It’s B-tier Zemeckis but still holds up for sure.
Thought it was fine. Great cast.
