The necklace that matched the necklace in the museum painting would be on Judy's body, presumably a family heirloom from Elster's wife's family. Elster, of course, could deny any knowledge of such jewelry, could say Scottie must have given her that along with the rest of her makeover.
Elster's whole plan was totally bonkers. Scottie still nearly made it to the top of the tower at the time of the wife's murder. Wouldn't the police check the spot where the wife supposedly jumped? Maybe Elster and Judy went down to the chapel and pretended to pray for awhile. Imagine Judy in Scottie's apartment pretending to be in a trance and thinking "Oh crap! He's gonna actually undress me!" Wonder if she mentioned that to Elster?
Scottie should have just stuck with Midge!
Imagine a sequel where Scottie, realizing he couldn't prove anything, coming after Elster on his own...
I can see them working together to rope shimmy from the top platform to the large dishes. How would you then get the rope secure around the tower below the dishes? Still over 100 feet to go to get to the lower platform. Could the drone be able to take the weight of part of the rope and use the drone to circle the tower below the dishes? Maybe the drone could loop the shoe laces around the tower. Once you have a loop around attach the rope to the lace and pull the rope around. They should have saved the lace from the dropped shoe. They could cut Beck's hair to pieces and tie the pieces to the shoe lace and then use the drone to loop around. Imagine trying to do all that while sitting on that dish!
I saw the extra couple of minutes. It was nice to see Midge again. What with Judy's death though, I can't see how the police could pin anything on Elster. I think Scottie would have quite some explaining to do as to why he and Judy were up in that tower in the middle of the night.
I can't see how Scottie and the police could tie Elster to his wife's death.
In this version Show Off White will kill the huntsman when he attacks. When the animals attempt to help her she chases them away saying "I don't need no stinkin' animals!" She builds her own secret headquarters in the forest. She travels throughout her late father's kingdom raising an army to attack the queen. The climax of course, is a fight to the death between Show and the queen. No need for dwarfs, magical creatures, or princes. In a shocking twist ending, the queen kills Show! I mean, we are talking Wonder Woman here. You can only strain credulity so far. They should have cast Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the queen if they wanted Show Off White to believably prevail.
Hopefully $0.00
Show Off White.
I was thinking, they could have made a dark ending. When Truman went through that door it could lead to a corridor that exited into a second set! Truman would be treated as a celebrity in that new set world, keeping the show fresh!
I think Midge broke off the engagement 'cause Scottie wouldn't stop bugging her about jacking up her eyebrows, putting her hair up, making it blonder, wearing a grey suit, losing the glasses...
Without Judy to testify, how could the police pin anything on Elster?
Imagine the audition process for the John Chisum song: "Sir, you have an excellent singing voice, however, it just isn't deep enough or uber manly enough for our Chisum chorus!"
