So we now know it was Helena not Helly who slept with Mark. But why? Helena thinks innies are animals, even lower forms of life. Why would she sleep with one? Could she have had a prior relationship with Mark in the outer world? Maybe she’s a jilted ex-lover using her Dad’s power to exact some sort of revenge on Mark and Gemma? Or is she testing the strength of the severance implant when it gets put under the stress of emotional and sexual entanglements.
We know Innie Mark is attracted to Helly, not Ms Casey/Gemma. But Helena and Ms Cobel are very intrigued by Mark’s interactions with Ms Casey. Are they examining if the powers of love and attraction can transverse the severed brain? Real world Mark seems to be becoming unsevered since he learned Gemma may still be alive.
I slipped on a puppy mat soaked in puppy pee that produced the same cartoonish slip and fall. I would have preferred slipping on a banana skin.
Yeah, that was a weird scene. I feel they edited out the most important parts of their conversation at the diner. Did woman whose car broke down tell Elizabeth (Dern) about some program to become a penpal to a death row inmate? I feel that important connection was cut out, so the whole encounter seems vague.
It was tragic that no one allowed the space heater evidence or the letter from the jailmate recanting his testimony. I think these are points that underscore the film’s message that the death penalty needs to abolished, or at least strictly applied to only cases with the most irrefutable evidence.
Yes, it is a true story. Spolier - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Todd_Willingham
The Brits are renowned for eccentricity, and Sir Paul is an example of that. They have some brilliantly creative people but they also tend to be a bit kooky.
Burden of proof is always on the bozo theory
Let’s get to the real reason it is bomb - all the terrible eruptions into bad songs and bag singing. Who the F asked for an effin musical in 2025?
I like them both, but find I’m more inclined to be in the mood for SH over The Agency.
I only saw MATH a few times but it had more raw comedy. 3C was such a canned, studio sitcom but John Ritter’s star power talent bolstered it up. Somers too, but she left the show too soon.
Fun fact - this show was an Americanized knock-off of a UK show called “Man About the House”.

The main bad guy is not believable. He whispers his lines and looks too scruffy to be a lead.
Wait, did Howard act after he became a director? The other two kept both careers going.
Maybe it was this that gave me the thought

Loved S1. Can’t wait for S2. Great cast.
Excellent film.
WGAF about accuracy in sci-FI? Emphasis on the FI. Instellar is the best out of the realism scifis: Contact, The Martian, and Gravity. Shout out to Cosmos (2019) which is the best low budget film in this genre.
1) Ghost Busters (1984)
2) Northern Exposure (1990-1995)

4) Back to the Future Part II (1989)

RIP. She had a big career on Broadway too. Just yesterday I saw her in the preview of No Good Deed and planned to watch only because her character seemed funny and interesting.
What happens to their faces when they close it? The eternal mystery may be solved!
