Honestly this show is going to have a lot of similar looking characters with Valyrian blood and silver hair. As a casual viewer I am kind of glad they made that one character (and his kids?) black, it just makes it less confusing for me.
I don't know if going for his horse is allowed or not but it seems like a terrible strategy. If his opponent is aiming his lance straight ahead at Daemons body, and Daemon is aiming his lance down and to the side(to trip up the horse); shouldn't the opponents lance knock Daemon off his horse before Daemons lance could make contact with the opponents horse.
