And then they have been released over 2-3 years time. So she pops up sometimes during promotion. But all press hype died down.

She is at where she has always been. She is lead actress. Or co-lead. And she makes few movies a year and promotes them. She is not bland. Otherwise she could not be around for 20 years.

Barrera's character survived because writers made her Final Girl. That's it. The only reason.

I never get interest to watch movie when whole trailer is just random pretty shots of nothing. Because it means movie has no plot. I need to know basic plot to know if I want to see it.
