It could be worse. Disney could have bought the rights. Imagine 🥺.
Well this is gonna be good isn't it.
Lol. Rules are rules.
Think this guy is such an underrated actor. So good as a sleazy psycho in Nocturnal Animals. I hated that character so much. The right choice for me. Glad they ignored the dumb calls for a DEI hire.
Stoked for this one. Early buzz is all good. David Dastmalchian is such an underrated/underused actor.Glad he seems to be getting more roles these days.
We need tea to function. It's like Asterix and the magic potion. Shit gets done!
Don't even joke about it.

Same. Been looking for this for years. I remember it from when I was really into watching atheist channels.
Incredible to think this was written, produced and performed as an episode of a sit-com(!) and not one person at any stage had pause to think how it would come across.
The usual box-ticking. 18th century England looking very odd. They can't help themselves.
Claudia for me. The accent edges it.
What a strange career this guy has had. A couple of blinders but years of inactivity.
Found The Zone of Interest just too dull and no pull for a rewatch.
1. Under the Skin (2013) 8/10
1. Sexy Beast (2000) 6/10
3. Birth (2004) 6/10
4. The Zone of Interest (2023) 5/10
I have seen plenty of clips in my feed of people getting asked which river and which sea and not having a clue. So embarrassing. You would do a bit of homework wouldn't you?
Totally agree. This film is perfect. Remaking it with current cultural environment will be embarassing.
I think she didn't know what was going on before her visit but put it all together, the noise, the smoking chimneys etc. And imagine the smell. That's why she disappeared in the night, not wanting to even look her daughter in the eye.
IRL who knows who knew what.
The equivalent of dropping a nasty fart in a crowded room and walking away.
If you put something out there knowingly trying to generate negativity, you cannot complain when it comes.
What do you honestly expect the reaction to this post is going to be?
2000 does seem like a good cut-off point. Everything you need came before that.
