Fucking love this film and enjoyed every minute of it. The trio's effortlessly brilliant performance along with the charming sometimes witty screenplay elevate this film to a masterpiece. Let's not blame the actor and blame the director who painted the batman in that light as a skinny depressed character who lacks the charisma and willpower that Bruce has in the face of his trauma. I'm sure if Robert was directed by Nolan he would have nailed it. Actually Neon acquired it. This movie is campy and fun which is why I enjoyed for what it was. I think it's far better than most films that have come out so far. One coulda have legs, the other coulda done without. Both turned out awful. Why does Hollywood keep churning out soft diluted cookie-cutter movies and sell them as "nothing like you've ever seen". If a movie is categorized "psychological horror" it has to have elements that the viewer should find disturbing but nothing in this cheap procedural elicited such response. This should be an entry to horror for elementary students. I thought it was bland. The premise was good but the third act was a big letdown. Disjointed hot mess. 4 is my rating! Yeah but cruel of them to leave him behind.. That fat lady could have redeemed herself by bringing him along. Surprised no one mentionned the puppy. To claim his 10 grand This movie was trash. No character development, no solid script and a god awful ending. Ti could have held back on it and worked on a different project. I agree, Mia was just in it for the dough. This movie is required viewing. Also the scene with father and son made me sob like a baby. The brits are unique at crafting good stories. I meant to say the villain character got his comeuppance, so the other character taught him a lesson. I'm so drunk as i'm typing this. Fine I'll check it out. This one was popular on Letterboxd and I saw an audience praise it after screening which is why I saw it. It's decent if you focus only on the action sequences and some of the Kills. Let me know your thoughts! The guy from Banshee would be a nice fit for this role As much as I love to watch E Moss in almost anything, this one was such a drag and I could not relate to any of the characters, the script was too weak. This was a missed opportunity. That ending as a prelude to Chapter 2 was perfect. Great movie Well said. I have this movie on my watchlist because it came highly recommended despite its country of origin.
