Nah I think she had the means to escape. She's a Loki after all
Gun tech may not have advanced hugely but there was definitely an absence of high level weaponry.
I thought the ropes they were using to try and tie up the female alien prior to shoving her in a cage were even more ridiculous.
Talk about setting the bar low
