Rush was a story driven picture. FvsF was a big name actor driven picture. In 20 years nobody will remember FvsF. Rush is just so much better.

Im a huge Ridley Scott fan and I love most of his films but Kingdom of Heaven , A Good Year , Robin Hood , Exodus: Gods and Kings , All the Money in the World ,The Last Duel & House of Gucci are all weak films. Even flat our boring.
I have tried 4-5 times to watch House of Gucci and I'm only 20 min in.

He's had great success in the last 15 years. So he must be doing something right. I know someone who worked with him on western and he's deemed " a bit slow or a tad stupid " like a good looking frat boy.

Fairly insane marketing. They even recut the film during the pandemic in order to "trim"his part. If they did not know that they have flop, a loosing hand $$, on their hands they would (probably) digitally replace him. Trailer also excludes him.

The outlined script for TD4 that are being considered is about missing young girls / woman and subsequent mass graves in Arizona & New Mexico. It will have a "Sicario" feel and a Mexican cartel angle or a serial killer "hiding behind" the Mexican cartel and he may have been operating in the US for decades undetected. No word on casting, no green light as per Feb 2022, Nic Pizzolatto is not involved.
Czechers21 : The business is messed up. It has become such in the past 10 years. I have lost so many friends and colleagues to injustice and politics. It's a fear driven environment, replaced at any second. Yes, wages are reduces with every new production. But if you don't want the gig boatloads behind you are for less cash. Being a white man works to my disadvantage as requirements are to have a diverse crew. I was replaced in 2021 on a smaller production as the requirement was to have an Indian(from India) as a location manager. I wonder how much he was paid.
