She is really impressive
Good call! Subconsciously it was reminding me of something and I think it was Fargo.
That’s good
She also makes Holmes too likable, but that might turn soon
Hot as fuck
Agreed. Edi Patterson is really attractive. In “vice principals” she was so hot as a psycho. Cassidy Freeman is gorgeous too.
The fast track romance between Elsa and Sam seemed forced. I find it annoying how she thinks she has more wisdom that her parents specifically her mom. I know “wait until I have a teenage daughter to learn that” but in this scenario I think she should be a little bit more scared and inviting to what her experienced parents might have to say.
I agree that Elliot, McGraw, and Garrett are more interesting. I think modern day woke character writing has this effect where they want to build up female characters to the point where they’re not relatable with any faults. They write male white characters with faults and weaknesses with no concern how they come off thus making them more relatable.
Lily James as Pamela Anderson is more hot than Pamela Anderson or Lily James
Totally agree
Very similar. Smashed shares the same theme about alcohol being the foundation of a relationship and if one gets sober the relationship falls apart, the "threesome" as DoWaR suggests. What is different is that the two both seem to be hard drinkers but one, the wife, can't stop once she starts and it leads to harder drugs. The husband seems to be able to control it better and but still drinks a lot.
Totally agree!
I think what classics you read in public school is a crap shoot. Some curriculums include Beowulf, others don’t. I think Beuwulf though has some sort of cultural reference that one would have heard of it and looked it up.
Could not agree more. Rubin was especially good, good interviewing that felt like a conversation. I would like to see ringo have his own show like this one
Yes, he was very underrated. I think the reason why he was overlooked is because he was always a supporting character in sketches. In my opinion every sketch he was in he was always so funny and perfect for what the sketch needed whether it was a straight man or an exaggeration.
I teared up with last scene between Jack and Bobby. Also Jack's breakdown in rehab on Ally's visit was sad and hits a chord (no pun intended) with anyone sober who has guilt with how they acted to their loved ones when they were using/drunk.
Totally agree. Stiller was overlooked and I think Bello too, she may have been worthy of a best supporting award, I thought she was great.

“Unlike drunk driving, no child has ever been run over and killed while someone was smoking and driving. Believe me, I've tried, they see me coming by the red glare of my cigarette and dart out of the way.” -Bill Hicks
