I wonder if there was a falling out between the leads.
I was surprised that the episode was copyrighted "2019" - why couldn't it be aired in January or February of 2020?
What they should have done was cancel it after Season 11. The Behind the Music parody was the perfect swansong.
Also, there's only so much you can do with animated shows. The Simpsons got lame, Family Guy got redundant, American Dad feels like fan fiction, and South Park lost its edge.
I thought Ray Vecchio was a lovable grouch.
It's too bad that they didn't do a crossover.
If she had been as popular then, we might not have seen her do this small movie. We might have seen her play the role that Ellen Page played in Inception.
With different stars, it would have played that way but there was too much riding on the star power of Jennifer and Chris to make it anything more than a somewhat fluffy romance with hints at something darker.

It's proof that he's a chameleon without having to change his hair significantly or put on weight like many thespians do in order to stand out.
The girl makes Tom appear bigger than he really is, which is probably why they felt she was necessary.
Scott Adkins would have been perfect for the role.
With Cruise in it, it would have been a parody since he has a thing for running.
Crystal Skull feels like a backdoor pilot for Mutt Williams.
