really? in which scene? I don't remember that at all. I think if there is a scene where he does that his hand was probably forced because there are plenty of scenes I do remember where he wasn't too eager to kill vito.
I think I may remember a scene where he tells someone Carlo should do it, but if I remember correctly even then he was reluctant and was basically caving to the demands of others

I agree. I saw it in the cinema and on dvd many times after, but it's been a good 15 years at least since I last saw it.
I randomly caught it on sky movies tonight and I thought it would have aged badly and not be funny anymore, but I was laughing all the way through. shame we can't make half of these harmless jokes anymore though :(

you should see how hard they've been forcing women's football over here for the past few years. it barely makes any revenue and is generally dependant on income from the men's teams to keep them financially viable.
it's kind funny because in business things that lose money generally fail, but because it's "women's" football it gets treated like a charity and gets propped up by an endless stream of external revenue, and then they pretend that there's a huge fanbase to justify it all but there really isn't
