Yes exactly! Randall has gotten everything he's wanted. Why, because it would look bad to show a black guy struggle while his white siblings thrive? Why couldn't they all struggle equally? And I hate that they dragged out the Toby and Kate fallout. I was hoping there would be a twist that Kate and Toby would get better together and that the wedding was her renewing her vows with Toby. But instead, they really did break up. There's no way I would be able to rewatch any of these episodes knowing the outcome. And you would think the writers would be smart about the pacing considering it was their decision to end the show. That's why I wish he was the one to end it instead of Kate. They really villainized Toby. I know what you mean. I also don't understand how people knew about Bob's history of stealing from 10 clients and they didn't think to arrest him? That after she lost all that money, there was no way she could be helped other than to get a job whereas the money was stolen from her? They should have had it where she was an overspender and lost her money that way. While I understand what you mean with MJ, I wouldn't find that dated because not all women in superhero films need to be strong females or geniuses like Gwen Stacy. Not every woman knows how to kick ass in a life or death situation and MJ represents that. It's realistic that way. And MJ was never supposed to be a kickass character even in the comics. Plus, I think all of that had to do with Kirsten Dunst because she has said in interviews that she doesn't ever want to play a superhero character because of all of the preparations they need to do. In a way, she's been a hero to Peter in being the motivation to be a hero and fulfilling his heart. One thing that I was curious about was, did the apes lie and act like it was a new planet from Earth? Thank you! Exactly! Any time I hear Kate say how much she loves Philip, I cringe. I didn't care for Sam at all as a character. I thought she was incredibly boring and in serious need to pluck her eyebrows. It's really sad this was the best they could find to be the "new Sydney." All so they can spread diversity and have a Latina be the lead. I felt like her sister did a better job of carrying the film than her. I don't understand what happened that caused the divorce. Gale moved to New York and Dewey didn't follow? And she gets shot and treats it like nothing happened. What I didn't understand about that was it looked like she had enough time to close her eyes before hitting the water I don't think so. In interviews, we see that she's exactly the same. Plus when she gets married to Philip, she's still fat. Yeah, Harriet deserved better friends. It's true that Harriet shouldn't have thought about what she did to her own friends, but her friends in return tried to ruin her life after and bully her. I understand not talking to her, but it's another matter to put her into a depression. I think with Janie, Harriet lied about her apology. With Sport, I think she meant it. But they owed her an apology too for everything as well. I don't like how it's all on Harriet either. Yeah it felt like it was the director's way of trying to be original and stand out from the other films when it just wasn't necessary. I think they'll be lovers but not in a conventional way. I agree. It's more just because I felt like Jo and Blair had good chemistry with each other that I can picture that growing to love. You clearly didn't see the new trailer. Then how did it work the second time? But how come Peter decides at the end to erase Peter and not just Spiderman? I don't think he's going to go back to MJ because he saw she got into MIT so she'll be moving to Boston. That she's safer without him and will have a bright future. That may not happen if she's with Spiderman. Look at Tobey's Peter. Mary Jane didn't really have much of a future as herself. Her career blew up and didn't make a name for herself. Just Spider-man's girlfriend.
