yea, i did kind of feeling the same,... wondering the purpose of he standing there for so long... But i figure out later that, he didn't move because he want to make sure there is still a bait in front of the monster. He hope the monster go straight to him! If everyone just running away sideway, there might be a chance that attract the monster to chase sideway as well... At that moment he was the only one has the "plan" in mind . Just my 2 cents Oh, really good point! i am reminded that there were "a whole sequence of shots" showing predator "paying attention to & recording" Billy's laugh. A clear sound-waveform appear in predator's point of view. By your theory, this laugh-recording-sequence are "justified" at the ending. yeah! i whole-heartedly agree! One of my favorite acted & scripted scenes too. I don’t know how to explain… that scene was just so powerful and full of emotions... and those emotions are multi-layered. The confrontation were more than “person to person” , but it was more like their “beliefs” confront one another. There was a strong sense of hate, but underneath there were also some kind of respect, faith and regret ,… … That scene was excellently acted, scripted, and directed. right exactly!... either one of them got hit first would never be able to fire back, that means both bullets need to leave both gun-chambers within the same mini-second.... ...Oh, Or maybe it's just me too stupid to understand!? yea! ... i guess i am just too negative looking at things.
