R.I.P.(P.E.R.)
You brought up the year 2000 (not me)
Then when called out on that, you're now moving your goalposts to 2001 (despite the fact that I've gave details about his fairly extensive albeit mostly DTV career, post 2001) or are there some other "Towers" that fell (post 9/11) that may conveniently keep you in the argument, whenever you feel like further shifting the timeline?
Why not re-edit (or delete) your initial statement or (when all else fails, as it clearly *has* here) call me a troll (either option saves you admitting you're wrong)
Except, he's never really gone away, to need a 'comeback' (regardless of his box-office and/or the 'medium' of his releases) Like I said previously, he's quite busy for such a lazy, washed-up, unpopular actor? Pulling up the dwindling box-office numbers of 'Exit Wounds' doesn't invalidate what I wrote earlier:
(Quote)
"Exit Wounds (2001) went straight to #1 at the box office and made a good profit for it's initial budget.
Half Past Dead (2002) underperformed (but still had a cinema release)
The Foreigner (2003) with a budget of 20m, was scheduled for a cinema release (but pulled at the last minute by Sony/Screen Gems)
Machete (2010) whilst not a stand-alone Seagal movie, did well at the cinema.
And since around the time of 'Absolution' (2014) most of Seagal's movies have had 'limited' cinema runs (usually to add 'rental' weight to their simultaneous VOD releases)
He still makes good money, given his (admittedly) sparse work effort on set. He regularly tours with his group (Thunderbox) acts as a cultural envoy between Russia and the U.S.....and STILL has several new movie projects in the pipeline"
Which isn't too bad for a career that *YOU* claimed was over by 2000?

So, to be fair, Seagal hasn't done too bad in his career (it's just that he's peppered it with lots of DTV releases, that's all) He hasn't had to water-it-down in 'Kindergarten Cop' style sequels (or 'Lifetime Christmas' movies) He still makes good money, given his (admittedly) sparse work effort on set. He regularly tours with his group (Thunderbox) and acts as a cultural envoy between Russia and the U.S.....and STILL has several new movie projects in the pipeline.
For a guy with no career.....he's likely a lot busier than most of your A-listers?
You should check out a show he did in 1977, called 'Odd Man Out' (which was chock full of rampant gay/race/tit jokes)
It made 'Are You Being Served' look like a tea-party.
Check it out on youtube (whilst you can)

Kamala Harris
Amen
Nope, and your only going to realise how much Trump did for America....as this senile old fart undoes it all (in the name of 'progressiveness')
'Age-Out'?
Human mortality (it would seem) is not even a legal requirement for voting (twice) in 2020?
^this^
Sad news indeed (always thought he was younger?)
Perhaps their slogan should be:
"Make America An Apologist, Third World, Welfare-State, Burnt Out, Shithole Again"
(.....which I'm sure they will?)

He was once the 'greatest' (with the one/two knockout combo of 'one Crazy Summer' and 'Better Off Dead')
.....But then (sadly, as we all do) he grew up.
Trump would/will 'Seagal' Biden all over the gaff
Brosnan now (imo) looks amazing (when compared to Craig)
Imagine how bad the franchise would have to become, before anyone found Daniel Craig 'remotely passable' by comparison?
Yeah, sad news (loved his 'Al Pacino' on Stella Street) R.I.P.
(Profondo Rosso) Deep Red
Yeah, I know what you mean.....I'm still waiting for 'Angels With Dirty Faces' and 'The Roaring Twenties' to hit Blu-ray.
I'll also like to add, that both 'white Heat' and 'The Public Enemy' look great in HD (if that's any incentive?)
In fact, all my 'black & white' Blu-rays look great ('the original 'Twilight Zone' episodes look amazing on BD) There seems to be more and more older titles (primarily 'film-Noir') getting released all the time now. Keep an eye on sites like www.blu-ray.com for regular updates, reviews and release dates (if you haven't already?)
