Kept me involved and that’s saying a lot these days. Edgy dialogue, good acting and promising story. I do see a lot of Tony Soprano somehow but that could be just me. Laaa Tommy and Joel did some bad things, to survive ofcourse but still things Tommy wants to leave behind as he built a new sustainable life for himself. Sometimes people remind of us of a history you rather forget and although you love them it’s easier to just run away. Joel could have stayed but Tess died to give them a chance, i believe he owes it to Tess to give it a chance. And potentially redeem himself. As for killing the zombies, you make it sound easy, they are ultra-dangerous, and society hasn’t got the tech and means to efficiently eradicate them. More importantly humans need to work together again, and that will take a long time. Same here, so far i think it’s the worst season, i’m missing a sense of urgency. Sidenote: Ciro seemed to have gained a few pounds and somehow i get the feeling they are trying to cover it up in every scene he’s in. They probably were a bit deaf after each show before already so perhaps they were used to is? Just wait until we get to college man. Bang bang bangbang Pink also isn’t the jock type like Mitch or Benny and the writers did make the similarities between Mitch and Pink pretty obvious with the shared baseball history. Regardless posture or attitude the Mitch baseball scene also showed that through his talent he’ll earn status in high school and probably be the next Pink. Overall I’m not that impressed by the actor who played Mitch though, off all the characters he looked a little bleak and inexperienced in comparison. yeah, i had to get into it as well. I guess you either love or hate the hyper-realistic film style. But it does paint a good picture if you want to get an idea of what modern day like organized crime looks like. I suggest you watch series like narcos and gomorrah. Especially the latter is pretty relevant currently imo. Or he simply was a sociopath as many other characters involved. They even dipped into this briefly with the priest scenes at the end. Frank didnt feel any remorse. View all replies >
