If you actually saw a lot of ads and heard any hype at all you know how focused it all was on it being Marvel's first female lead superhero movie, even though it's not. Plus every time Brie Larson opened her mouth was to promote it for it's gender focus. And before you say that's not the ad campaign, the star talking about it is part of a movie's promotion. But who knows, maybe they only released the movie on international women's day by accident.
Was there some subtext behind your claim?
That wasn't my take at all.
Can't be sure what's true but the bottom line is you've got the family of someone who's now dead saying "nuh-uh we weren't estranged."
