At least we can thank them for casting Alexa Davalos.
It costs a lot (in blood and money) to try to rule the whole world. Germany would have been happy to share power with the Japanese (and the Italians), at least for a while.
Or watch, "The Man in the High Castle" for an alternate take, on the partition of North America between Germany and Japan.
Not likely. She was smart enough to change her appearance, and had no fingerprints or DNA to track.
It's a great commentary on how tech companies treat their customers, even when the product is eternal life. Can't afford a premium data plan? You get dial up and black-and-white.
But who is going to pay for the uploads (and the premium data plans) if they don't get to interact with their deceased loved ones?
And it is kind of a pain to interact with them.
Every movie would be better if Christopher Nolan directed it.
People are already turning to AI girlfriends. Life is getting much more complicated.

Nowadays he could have downloaded himself in small pieces onto people's cell phones, with instructions to reassemble if he ever becomes deactivated....
au contraire, this movie poses a lot of questions about the soul, and is more timely than ever, with artificial intelligence looming as a savior or an existential threat to humanity.
It is pretty well done, and self-contained. Norton was too good for the MCU though.
That satin blouse though...
I don't see any problems with MJ at all.
It could be durable, just not compact. And we're a long way from it being able to self-assemble. I could see Elon Musk flying around in something like this.
He will be a tough act to follow. That's why Marvel isn't trying.
Hard to like someone who wants to kill half your friends.
And it's a dumb plan anyway. Life will quickly reproduce to fill the void created.
It's an underrated gem. The first movie lost what fan base the FF had though.
Yeah, this is a great movie even if you don't know anything about the X-men, and don't watch superhero movies.
No, that would be Batman Begins.
Followed by Spiderman 2, Iron Man, The First Avenger, etc.
Chair lift.
It still holds up. The stunts and fights are first rate, and the acting and story are good.
