Same here. I was actually disappointed that I didn’t feel like crying at the end. But I almost did during the Hawkeye/Black Widow scene too. Very well done there. Thanks for that detailed explanation. Haven’t played Fortnite although I always hear about it. I appreciate the context. I’m not sure that this is possible. Or it’s less than 50% likely. Yes, there are a record number of screens that this is available, but let’s not forget that the length of the film is hindering it some. There are a lesser number of showings per screen due to the length. So all of the extra showings at 1am, 2:30am etc are only serving to bring the daily number of screening per theater back up to the average. I still think they it will beat Infinity War, but I am expecting somewhere around $260-275 million opening weekend (which is still impressive). So yea I guess we agree that this may fall short. Thanks for the advice. I’ll rewatch. I have another Endgame ticket purchased for Sunday lol I did watch it. I’ll give it another watch when I get a chance. I only watched it once. I just happened to watch Ant Man before this movie came out, so any sequence he was involved in made total sense. I guess I should’ve done the same for Ragnorak. Go watch it still. It’s one thing to know the ending. It’s another to experience it. And no more comment reading before films ok? There will be future movies you will want to watch and now you know for the future. I’ve had enough movies spoiled where I’ve especially learned to avoid unfiltered comments sections for articles, Twitter etc. Articles do a good job (mostly) of whether they contain spoiler material. User comments... not so much. That’s Ok. Not saying there is anything wrong with that. It’s just too much analysis for me. Glad to have your input tho. Maybe i am not explaining well enough. I am ok with critiquing a movie; but to analyze it to the point of writing a report on it. That’s just too much effort. I want it just enjoy a movie and watch it. This was an entertaining horror film for me. I guess we just disagree on that. And what a bore to try to read that much into a movie IMO. But If a go watch a horror film and it scared me while being fully engaged in its plot, then I will say it did it’s job. Maybe I’m their demographic, but isn’t that what a horror movie is? Gloomy atmosphere that builds up to a jump scare? I dont know. I enjoyed it. I thought it was well done. Not a ground breaking horror film but one of the better Conjuring films. Excited to see it. Gonna watch it tonight. My observation is that noticing a deep interest in something that one is not interested in is considered an “obsession”, while noticing a deep interest in something that someone can relate to is a “passion”; it just comes down to different strokes for different folks. Who am I to tell someone that it’s wrong? It’s not hurting anyone. Maybe it’s just me, But I don’t see much of a difference between someone that goes to a comic book convention and collects comics versus someone that goes to an art gallery and collects paintings they are both different forms of entertainment and interests. I’ll withhold judgment until I watch the movie. But I agree. First impression of Scar is disappointing. But you also don’t want two lions that appear too similar. We don’t want people confusing Mufasa and Scar. Me too. I have a feeling it’s going to have a decent opening weekend for a horror film. Well it’s been a few years since this thread came out. I think it’s simply due to the fact that it’s not easy to make an underwater film as a live action movie and how would you handle all of the talking underwater animals. But with the recent release of the Aquaman movie we finally have a template on how to create an underwater film and I think we may see an announcement for Little Mermaid sometime soon When I saw this thread, I thought you were referring to the Annabelle doll. And yes I think evil ol’ Barb could’ve killed her too. LOL. Portraying some Indian influence may not be completely inaccurate. While the original 1994 film Aladdin didn’t fully explore the full extent of Agrabah, the follow up mid-1990’s Aladdin cartoon series did a better job of doing so. I remember Jasmine making reference to an area known as Ganistan, which was an obvious play to countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan. These countries have mid to strong Indian influence. You’ve still offered no proof. Plus, that doesn’t explain why Disney didn’t “save” the Star Wars films lately; that’s a very profitable franchise. It must suck to hate a film so bad, yet see it succeed so much. I feel sorry for you.
