I really liked oddity, it fell a bit flat at the end but had a really good atmosphere throughout, and some genuinely creepy scenes.

They giy at the bar is just a random. It just mirrors how the main character felt at the start about the lifestyle. They put a gps chip in him as well. They definitely plan to keep him around. And I think he did accept his fate.
Pretty sure he was the younger version of the old dude in the Cafe. I assume you use the stuff long enough it affects both people. Seems like he was smart enough to stick to the 7 day rule though.
