I think you're referring to S5.E18 Hanky Panky which actually involves B.J. Hunnicutt and a nurse.

It might be The Castle from 1997, an Australian movie. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118826/
Can you tell us about the other dimension - Medieval, magic/dragons, Futuristic, etc?
I'm glad what I was able to provide was helpful. I'm more a follower of the older horror movies. These new realistic ones are a little too 'strong' for my tast.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!
The video is 8 minutes long, and this trailer is 1 minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOHILJprY40

<blockquote>"Tag Along" is a series of horror films scaring Taiwanese audiences since 2015. The central character of the cycle is a moshenzi – a demon born in urban legends, looking like a little girl in a red dress. The VR version of the series confronts the moshenzi, this time in as slightly different form, with a newlywed couple who find themselves in a deserted suburban villa.
Thanks to the creative design of the space and making active use of the whole 360-degree surroundings of the viewer, "Tag Along" is one of the best horror experiences in virtual reality. Asian horrors turned portrayals of demonic ghost-women into art, electrifying worldwide audiences with broken movement phases and deadly staffage. "Tag Along" completes this mix with the freedom of looking around, throwing us right in the middle of the young couple's drama, forcing us to confront a murderous demon in stereoscope. Will you dare to follow the girl?</blockquote>
Early 1980's, New Wave, British solo male singer suggests Bryan Ferry or Paul Young to me.
I don't have a fit for your lyrics though.
I don't think yearspew is still on this site. There's no (XX) behind his name showing how many posts he's made, and you can't click on his username and see the posts.
I think he had a talent with the whip that wasn't shown in any of his movies.

Coma (1978) is more of a thriller than a horror
