I agree, I skip that scene. I also hate the scene where the geologist comes back as a zombie, that was just retarded.
What about the LOTR movies didn't you like? I think they are pretty boring and hollow outside of Fellowship.
I think the first half of the first movie is better than anything I saw in Lord of the Rings.
Agreed, along with Terminator and T2 and Alien/Aliens. Those two brought something new to the concept of the original.

Yeah Covenant sucked. Scott caved under the disappointment with Prometheus and made another empty Alien movie. We didn't get the sequel we were promised.
