I'm beginning to think you're a bot. Or else a 300 pound middle-aged guy living in his mother's basement. Five people died on Jan 6th, and 174 police officers were injured. Sounds pretty violent to me. As for the "gutless coward" remark, you're being ridiculous. Again. Okay, never mind about the port closures. They reached an agreement yesterday. So, only a single whammy. I won't address your first two points. They are too ridiculous for words. But the third, insurrection. Here is the dictionary definition:
A violent uprising against an authority or government.
That's what I saw on on TV on every channel, and as for Pelosi's footage, this is from the AP website:
Never-before-seen video footage played to the January 6th committee, showed Pelosi and other leaders, including Republican allies of Trump, responding anxiously — and angrily — to the insurrection. The recordings offer a rare glimpse into the real-time reactions of the most powerful members of Congress as they scrambled to drum up support from all parts of the government, including from agencies seemingly ill prepared for the chaos, and vented anger over a president whose conduct they felt had endangered their lives.
You could be right about the port closures. That and the Middle East situation could be a double whammy. Yep fake news, like the lies (oops fake news) The Donald spews everyday. How do you MAGAs not see that? "Their eating the cats and dogs." Sure. "I won the 2020 election." Exhaustive investigating turned up no fraud. "There was no insurrection on Jan. 6th. It was just a peaceful protest." Right, except that millions saw it on TV, horrified that this could happen in this country. Again, how do you MAGAs not see that. This man should never be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office. Over and out. Lots of reasons to vote for her. However, the main one is she is not Trump, a man who should never again be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office. No, that's just an aside to show what a sleazebag he is. The dictatorship part is in what he says, quoting Project 2025, even though he claims he never read it. Right. How to you tell when he's lying. His lips are moving. Right again, Bob. He wants to "return more power to the people," an alleged billionaire who's bilking them by hawking bibles and NFTS and Trump steaks and Trump watches. Have you got your Trump watch yet? I guess I'm a fool. You're right. Trump does want smaller government. A government of one, him. She will win because she's not Trump, the megalomaniacal, lying, grifting (anyone up for a $100,000 gold and diamond encrusted watch?), wannabe dictator. It is a silly phrase but apt nevertheless. And where is the rule written that it can't pertain to a movie? It may have originated with the Fonz, but I've seen it used a lot since, including movies and even political Faux Pas. As opposed to Trump hawking bibles and NFTs to bilk the public out of money this supposed billionaire shouldn't need. Ah, of course. Trump's nefarious, lying, grifting behavior goes back a lot further than people realize. Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. If not, then you're just attesting to your speed at reading. As for me, I'm a slow reader and it only took me a few days. But my original point was that the events in it dragged on in places, most places in fact. Do you think you posted this enough times? I'm the OP of this post and agree that Kubrick was a genius. Sometimes. In contrast to 2001 and its slowness, I give you Paths of Glory, his masterpiece that came in at a thrifty 1-1/2 hours and was rated 8.4 on IMDB. As I said, to each his own. I'm the OP of this post, and I hate Trump. I know you do too. Even though Trump actually quoted these numbers to Hannity, nobody seemed to get that I was spoofing. Oh well. My one and only attempt at trolling. She plays almost the same role in Little Miss Sunshine, except in that one she's a child beauty pageant overseer.
