Watched it two days ago and was majorly disappointed, for all the reasons that are mentioned above. The humour in particular was poor, clearly aimed at juveniles. The first movie was great, the second was reasonable and this one forgettable. IMHO, YMMV Sounds like they were a couple. I watched the part where the bartender says to samurai guy, that he's going to bed. The SG asks if he has a partner, and BT replies not any more, and then says "she found a better provider". So wife or GF is the bet. An interesting movie to watch. Cheers 1. GHOST (1990) 2. Casper (1995) 3. Thir13en Ghosts (2001) 4. The Frighteners (1996) 5. The Others (2001) 6. Topper (1937) 7. The Ghost & Mrs Muir (1947) 8. Poltergeist (1982) 9. The Uninvited (1944) 10. The Sixth Sense (1999) 11. High Spirits (1988) Pretty much what you said is mostly true, but oddly I still enjoyed it enough to have watched it twice now. I would recommend it, though with the obvious caveats. 6+ out of 10 for me. I watch my share of shorts, but this is easily the worst I've seen. I couldn't adequately describe it either. I had to fast forward through it. Part of a recent trend IMHO Also neither. I thought her Lupi in Transylvania 6-5000 (1985), was the best performance. He's hilarious in that as well. Cheers It's been a while since I saw it, so I may be completely wrong, but the only scene I can recall that kind of fits is when Eliza is clearly having trouble keeping her children fed, and she decides to earn some money 'on her back'. I guess the gent was her first client, but he backs out at the last minute getting cold feet possibly because he's a family man with children. Cheers I've only seen him in Wristcutters, but I thought he hit all the right notes there. The movie would have been poorer without him. zzyzzyx OK. IMDb lists the following..... 1. Rocket (2020) , no info 2. The Rocketeers, no info, the genres are Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi 3. The Rocketeer, a TV series, no info My money's on the TV series, but I'm no gambler. Cheers OK. I'll stick my neck out and say that the so-called sequel is (tongue-in-cheek) the Elton John bio-pic, Rocketman. Rocketman, geddit? :) Cheers Got to agree. It's a simple story done right. All the main characters got their chance to shine, and there was no villain to spoil it. The dynamics with family and friends was perfect. I rated it an 8/10 Cheers https://moviechat.org/tt2236054/Mystery-Road "An indigenous detective returns to the Outback to investigate the murder of a young girl". This Australian movie has some similarities, though snow is replaced by sand. It might also be a bit slow in unraveling, but for me that's a plus. Cheers The Yellow Handkerchief (2008) https://moviechat.org/tt0954990/The-Yellow-Handkerchief It's true that his movies have substance, TBG is no exception. It looks great, but it somehow comes out like a Monty Python sketch, just like "Brazil" did. This one is a miss for me. I rated it 5/10 Budget:$88,000,000 (estimated) Cumulative Worldwide Gross: $105,316,267 It's quite similar to The Breed (2001), both occur in an alternative world, the vamps are essentially good but one goes crazy etc. Don't normally like vamp movies as they are all basically the same. There are two exceptions, viz. The Breed (2001) and Perfect Creature (2006). It must be the steampunk look and feel that does it. Cheers
