Not seen any of those, but how about:
Stuntman (1980)
Glen or Glenda (1953)
Detour (1945)
Agreed, at least someone else saw that! Or was the entire film just a dream, of a political science student, who had fallen asleep during a boring lecture?
I 2nd that, it has all the genre staples and hallmarks. The ending is fantastic and fatalistic.
Yeah well, been at an art class myself where that has happened...ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
"Welcome to Brighton" and the next two episodes that follow it are the finest 3 surviving episodes.
Glad you enjoyed the show! Terrible shame it's largely been forgotten but in TV timing is everything and Public eye was probably old hat by 1975. Can you believe they wanted to revamp the show, with Marker turning into a Reagan (from the Sweeney) type figure? No wonder Alfred Burke quit, who would have believed that Marker could get heavy?
True, but can you blame them? The towns people were hardly tolerant, armed, racist and extremely violent. Even the Sheriff seems to go easy on them. Why didn't he do his job and nullify the threat of Posner and his thugs? Once they've finished with the school and Billy Jack and can imagine they'd turn on the "decent" people in the town.
But I agree that Billy is too handy with his fists and his gun, but I read this film as a modern day Western.
You couldn't even roll it up and smoke it.
They should have built a statue of him. What a legend.
Olivia Michelle.
I don't know as the DVD I've got has zero extras...not even a trailer!
I've seen the same trailers you mention on youtube.
I loved the ending! Fight it Eddie...fight it! He does and ends up hugging a nude Blair Brown.
2001 as AS gets you stoned without the any outside help.
Same here, is it just one of those films where they praise the performance of the lead, for being just like the character was in real life, because there is nothing else to enjoy?
Yes, this film promotes getting it on with alien fish creatures. So if you ever wake up next to one you know who to blame!
No, she loves that fish, why can't people live and let live?
This was bad, I gave it 30 mins before turning it off. I vowed never to watch another of their movies after this and Up in Smoke. These two make The Three Stooges look like the Marx brothers.
All very desperate until the final “battle of the bands” scene. The lyrics to their songs are funny, especially the cross-dressing one!
Cheech actually looks hot in his tutu and I can’t but help laugh at Stacy Keech and his 3 incompetent cops, when he says “admit it you are stoned”
Thanks, I was thinking about getting a cheap DVD of the movie.
Do you have a link for the rifftrax version?
They had the best grass though.
I agree, can these liberal humanists come up with a better way to spend your tax dollars, than fighting godless communism in Central America? No sir, they cannot! I rest your case.
