That depends on what kind of options are available to these people. Terrorists don't usually have TV shows.
I think Hitler spoke with similar vigor (like that woman in the video) in his speeches about injustice, and once he had power he put his words into actions. But before he took the power those were just words.
I bet if the power is given to these people they won't be a lot better. Let's remember propaganda is the tool of dictators.
I could not even finish the shamelessly self righteous video. You have a right puking out your disgruntled, narcissistic and self righteous thoughts and I have a right to stop watching.
There will be a lot less wars if there are less these social justice warriors forcing everyone to agree with them.
What kind of people do you think terrorists are?
There will be enough social activists to make sure good reviews, but it probably would have nothing to do with the quality of movies.
There are companies even forbid employees to date and dating is definitely legal. The guy's play seems to be wearing a bath rope and ask for massage, I doubt he has been doing it in his office.
There are also enough fake rape cases for me to assume nothing. There was a high profile case in Australia in which a woman sued formal David Jones CEO Mark McInnes of sexual harassment for $37 million and swore to donate all the money she would receive to charity so none could assume she did it for extortion and money. The case is supposed to be a watershed moment for sexual harassment in Australia.
In the end she got a large settlement and it was reported not even a cent of that money made to charity. If she lied about that, then what else she lied about?
I stopped watching after episode 3, though I never thought they would stoop so low to the point of anti-religion.
When you have admirals and captains and powerful guns on ship, yeah, that is military. All military follows the same principle. What she did is quite different when a first officer sees the captain as unfit for commend and relieve the captain from command duty and take over. What she did she knew would end her in prison whatever the outcome.
I think Lorca uses Michael is because he is a hawk and he wants the glory from a large scale galactic war. He is a brilliant warship captain with strong leadership capabilities.
To him Michael wants that too (maybe not the glory but war itself), willing to disobey orders to start it. That is exactly the kind of people he thinks he could count on to support him.
In military people follow orders, that is it.
Imagine what would happen if during a war, from officers of various ranks to every soldiers, everyone has a different assessment of the situation and act on it?
Imagine when Michael took over from her captain Georgiou and everyone acted exactly like her and what would happen?
I guess what Kylo did was about killing someone you love and loved you.
Anakin/Vader killed far more, but he thought he was doing the right thing, for the greater good, to "bring order to the galaxy".
Kylo did it for himself, for his training. I think that is the difference caused people's different views.
I don't think you watched carefully. There is a second officer on the ship, it is the male only gender guy. But he sits nowhere near the captain, and you wonder why.
Glad to know I am not the only one feel this way.
I think it is to make her sound tough. To think of it she talks and acts mostly the same as a guy.
Is it possible the script is written for a male character and they cast a girl and say let's change nothing, and see what happens?
I always thought even as politicians work for vested interests they represent, be it unions or businesses, and they would do whatever dishonest and despicable things to implement policies favor their backers instead of serving their country, still they are grown ups and would not be so petty to do something so obviously showing their unsound characters.
I mean don't they care about their reputations? Or US politics is already to a point that is no longer a thing?
Question is why would he want to control human realms. It is not like he wants good food or chicks, needs organized labor to build his palace. He is an immortal and the only thing he did with human was turning babies into white walkers.
And why does god of light want to fight him? God of light sent quite few people to do that. What does God of light want? Is this a God's war to control human realms, to what end? None of the gods has ruled human realms before.
I think it is about freedom, warlocks laid powerful magic on the wall and he was a prisoner of north. If I were him I'd make sure warlocks, the "children" and 3 eye raven are all dead.
Or maybe there is something in the south he wants.
I think he wanted Sansa to rule the north then he could marry Sansa and rule in her name. To be honest why else would he stay in the north? So he tried to separate Sansa from her support structure (her brother and sister), isolate Sansa and gain her trust, I think that was his play.
Without Daenerys Targaryen and night king he would have eventually accumulate enough power to take the throne. Of course his plan would not work at all facing dragons or army of undead. Scheming could only go so far.
I did wonder about that, why cancelling shows with good ratings? If they give a valid reason would be one thing, but no, maybe it is indeed about politics, which is quite sad.
