There's plenty of comedy. It's a satire. That's why it doesn't matter that the people didn't realize the monster was wearing a picture of a face. It's called absurdist humor. I was laughing.
Okay, so this won't be a childish response. You're taking this too personally. It was a joke, since you used the word "stupid," so I jokingly flipped it back on you.
It was not name calling. You 'are' dumb since you didn't get the movie.
It's you who's "stupid." It was satire. Can't be taken at face value.
They both suck
I mostly agree.
I love Altman but his style was very improvisational. He would've ruined Ragtime. Milos did a great job. It's perfect in my view.
Actually it takes a lot of work for comedians to build one hour of material. People think comedians can just wing it and be funny. Not the case. It takes months and even years to perfect an act. It's not woke at all.
Lol, you think it was safer in the 80s?? Just the opposite. The 80s were much more crime-ridden than now.
I don't think so.
It wasn't funny enough. She had been funny in previous specials, even hilarious. But she seemed to phone this one in.
Hm I'm not sure I'm buying that it's the writing. The film explains everything very clearly, almost on the nose, which I'm okay with btw. What I hate is the confusing films we get nowadays.
These two critics I respect and some of their followers don't agree that Elisabeth and Sue had the same consciousness:

I was under the impression that they had separate consciousnesses. Am I right?

Just saw it. Great movie. I agree it deserves more recognition.
Sarah Cooper is not white. Hello!
Exactly. Glad you agree.
