Are the people that stupid...!??!

Towards the end, that 'thing" is walking around in a dress with a PICTURE face on.. yet the people do NOT realize it's only a picture..
I guess, it shows how stupid people are in Hollywood... :P

reply

It's you who's "stupid." It was satire. Can't be taken at face value.

reply

like a little child trolling, you resort to childish name calling to make you happy and get your kicks.. you obviously have no life or gf. and like a moron, you'll responde back with another idiotic childish name calling.. and by doing so, you'll prove my point in how dumb you are..!

reply

It was not name calling. You 'are' dumb since you didn't get the movie.

reply

My point has been proven, with a childish response like this. you just showed your lack of intellectual.. and as a bafoon, you'll go again with another dumb remark comment to respond back because a kid like you, will always want the last word.. ..! So .. waiting for that dumb name calling again..!

reply

Okay, so this won't be a childish response. You're taking this too personally. It was a joke, since you used the word "stupid," so I jokingly flipped it back on you.

reply

ok, sounds good.. it was just a question of " since the movie is somewhat supposed to be a horror type movie.. and not much comedy, it made me wonder what the people DIDN'T see in the end..! it's all good..! :)

reply

There's plenty of comedy. It's a satire. That's why it doesn't matter that the people didn't realize the monster was wearing a picture of a face. It's called absurdist humor. I was laughing.

The end was my biggest issue with this movie too. It was just not the picture, but the whole "person" looked very suspicious (that was not like in Deadpool who has a normal shaped body), and she/it would hardly get anywhere near the stage without other people noticing/screaming.
Nevertheless, a good movie, quite convincing until that part.

reply

There is virtually nothing in this movie that was meant to be taken literally.

reply

I think it was obvious you're not supposed to take the movie literally. Everything was dream-like. All the people were almost like exaggerated caricatures, especially Dennis Quaid. The workout fashion of the 80's, the vehicles of the 80's, didn't belong in a world of LCD tvs and smartphones. Very much like a dream where things are out of place. I would argue everything was a nightmare, or a flash-forward of things to come if she did inject herself. I bet she was still standing there thinking about injecting the needle. But if the movie ended like that, it would make it too easy for us.
