People who claim our healthcare system is shit have not done much global travel.
Yes our life expectancy is lower than other developed countries due to a number of factors including {heart disease, stress, suicide, gun violence, liver disease, diabetes...}, and general poor health because of poor food choices, high availability and low cost of said poor food choices, and lack of exercise. Its not necessarily because we are getting poor health care.
It's just a perception I have that Thompson is not as much of a household name. Maybe it's just me. I had totally forgotten his name until you mentioned it above.

Sure the comment went too far. But supporting OJ or Smollett is just mind-boggling. Both were indisputably GUILTY. Smollett is absolutely inexcusable because he faked a crime intended to fuel the racial divide (and gay divide also). SMH. His goons had no reason to lie about what he paid them to do.

You're right; Closing mental hospitals because "they deserve to be treated like everyone else" is BS. It's sad, but some people just don't play well with others. It's greatly contributed to the homeless and drug problem in America.
