Ah I see. So that’s what “Stray Dog” was. It was a failsafe that immediately nuked the facility upon its discovery. I thought the destruction of the cloak revealed it to “Stray Dog” itself. Maybe.
Unless, Darklake was responsible for both the west AND the east towers. Which is the question that I had. Drasa’s father was dying and he was going to kill himself or so he said, so I understand her wanting to be there for a year.
But again was Darklake the organization that placed both parties there? Levi and her? Depends on what pull they had. After all what was going on originally was a consortium of American, Russian, English alliances so it’s not out of the question they ran the whole show.
How is Red Hulk explained in this or introduced? Is it still Banner?
Well, as you said, Wick didn’t go after everybody, especially civilians. My biggest argument is Christian would have had a major problem with Braxton being behind Dana’s murder or attempted murder. Plus he would’ve already have known his own brother was behind that attempt. Oh well, maybe they hashed it out after the movie. Who knows.
So, I’m assuming this “young officer” doesn’t kill or turn her in? VERY unlikely & far fetched as his ass is grass for even entertaining the idea but apparently you bought it.
It’s the world’s stupidest question I know but I gotta ask. Do the North & South Koreans resemble each other? Do they look alike? If so then how would they know if a South Korean was in their midst? How?
Me thinks YOU’RE the abomination. This actually wasn’t that bad. It had a lot of good things going for it. What Frankenstein movie that YOU know of that presents the monsters point of view? Trust me, in the novel, that’s pretty much how it went, you got to read what he was thinking, what he was feeling.
This brings a perspective lacking in the majority of Frankenstein movies out there. Loved the part where Victor caught up with him at the north/south pole and the monster was playing a flute inside his igloo. “I can play this. Which part of me knew how to? The mouth? The ears? The soul? Or did you forget to include that too?” Especially when Victor dies and he cries and the crew bursts in the room and they finally learn that Victor’s story wasn’t all BS. “Who are you?” Monster: “He never gave me a name.” “Why do you weep?” Monster: “He was my father.”
They showed more humanity to him than everyone. “He deserves to bear witness”. To Victor’s cremation/funeral. It’s a sad sad movie that bothered to actually impart material that is not found in mover 98% of other Frankenstein movies. This is what makes this FAR from an abomination of a movie.
Bad Boys of course!
“Plausible”. That’s the funniest thing yet. HE’S SUPERMAN G’dammit. What the f*%k did you expect? He’s an old character from an old DC comic. It came out, this is the way it was wrote and it is what it is, but we’ve already have known this for ALL these years. What the hell makes you bitch about it now? I’m debating what I’m expecting from this version but I guess it’ll be decent. In the trailers we see him bleeding and a little bit roughed up so I”m wondering what that’s all about but again we’ll see.
The rest of you can shove it, I mean I don’t care if he’s white, black, Asian, what have you but this is how the character was written and after all this time who are you all to take issue with it? Don’t like it? Then don’t f*ing see it, that’s all I got to say to the people here. Instead of being crazy and arguing about it.
Out of print? The freaking negatives were DESTROYED. It was part of the settlement after they got their butts sued by the producers of “The Exorcist”. That was a bum deal if I ever saw one. Ok pay them the money but they didn’t have the right to take someone’s film and destroy it.
Oh and about this being a “complete rip off”. Yeah? Funny, the exorcism in “The Exorcist” never took place in a disco. How in the F*k do you consider this a ripoff? The demon spoke jive, this was laughable at best. I thought for a second it was a comedy.
I’m not sure what you meant by that asom. Do you mean that he was old and ill? Well yeah ok, so what of it?
Nope.
Nope. Better than that. Again you may not even have noticed but I’ll wait for a few more tries before I answer. Thanks for your reply though.
Me too! Just found out.
Liked him. Grew up with him basically, with shows such as “Policewoman”, etc. He was equally good a a good guy and a bad one. What do you say about the guy who was in the very first “Twilight Zone” episode? He always seemed lie a standup guy to me, that’s how he came off, I don’t think I’m wrong. He had that likable quality. When I saw his picture on the Moviechat page then I knew he probably died.
Was shocked reading his bio, I never knew ANY of this. His birth, that he was adopted and had TEN siblings! Man, I hope in his life he got to track all of them down and was reunited. It would suck if he didn’t or couldn’t. Life sure can deal you a bad hand but he came out on top I’d say. Rest in peace Earl.
And even that was because of the damage he already had endured during his career.
Ah! Perfect! Now I understand! Thank you AmeriGirl26!
It’s amazing that in the books and movies/series the main story is this thing called “spice” & it’s everywhere and “everything”. Too bad earth was never mentioned in the Herbert books. We must not be anywhere close to where these guys live. Because if they ever found out we existed and that there were planets & worlds, solar systems, nebulas where people lived that never contained spice in any form, and where the people who lived there had no idea what spice was and lived without it, I think this would blow their freaking minds.
Now THAT’S a Dune movie I would love to see! Them finding us and coming over here. These guys would check us out just for the novelty of it all. That would be fun!
I’m right there with you, I absolutely HATED it. It was the dumbest of excuses that he killed…..no……murdered the poor kid. Thing is i could understand if there was some sort of misunderstanding where he thought Vic betrayed him or set him up, either with Sofia or those other people, but what he chose to do made no sense whatsoever. To think, he had the nerve to call Sofia a psycho. Pot calling kettle black huh?
If his mother was still in decent shape, she would’ve stabbed him again over him doing that. She really would’ve.
Thanks RS! Kai’s “butler” I think you’re referring to “Burton” his right hand man. HE killed Rebecca? But he was under her as an employee plus I thought he accepted her. If that’s the case then I wonder what happened. That’s bad luck for Kai because even he couldn’t handle Burton, that’s how dangerous the guy is. Remember his fight with Nola? Man that was brutal.
As a matter of fact I remember more than I thought I would, regarding the last time I watched this. Remember that new character that they introduced on the show, a former white supremacist guy with all the tattoos on his body and in the last episode of the season someone came into his house with acid and was going to burn them off. Not that they were against racism but they were white supremacist too who were p’d off that this dude repented of all that. Not sure what happened to him or his story but again thanks for the lowdown. What happens to Job? The Chinese guy? Is Hood’s real name ever revealed? What about his relationship with Siobhan? What about his nice sheriff assistant? The black guy?
Oh forget it! This was a shitshow! It sounds like an odd thing to say but I enjoyed this series immensely but boy am I glad that this is finally over! This sh!t here is some bad juju. Actually felt disturbed witnessing all of this. This is absurd at best & implausible at the very least. So most of the crime lords spurn Victor but later on they come out and say “Well we were wrong, so where are you and Oz?” I’m sure most everyone who sat in front of a TV and watched this probably thought that it was a setup, but it wasn’t. They actually meant what they said and then betrayed a woman they had no reason betraying. Yeah I believe all of this, for sure.
If you watch this as a whole I think the underlying message is to not seek revenge & go all in but to walk away and let things go. If Sofia wasn’t so obsessed in capturing and killing Oz, she could’ve just drove away with her trunk full of money and that would’ve been it. He wasn’t leaving Gotham to go after her. But she had to have her revenge, just when she was “THIS” close to leaving it all behind & moving on with her life but of course she didn’t & eventually she got burned. “Grasp for all, lose all” as Aesop had observed. If she could’ve just have followed her initial instincts and said “F*k it! I’m outta here”. She would’ve had a happier ending.
Try and tell me why after she offered to let everyone have her home/territory/business would they seek to screw HER? Those guys really had a hatred and disdain for Oz, they looked down on him, not so Sofia, so they’re betrayal of her and support for him is ludicrous to say the very least.
The thing with Oz’s mother was deep. She was “that” close to killing him as a kid but chose not to. She was after all still his mother. That guy, I forget his name, I don’t think “wanted” her to choose that course of action but he was ready though nonetheless if that’s what she chose. I’m guessing after all is said and done that she really did love Oz. She couldn’t have gone the rest of her life hating him and wanting him dead. That was just some of the anger coming out after all those years but it’s also her fault too for putting up a front for all that time. But I do believe she still loved him and was proud of him for what he accomplished.
It’s funny because Oz promised her he wouldn’t have left her in a bad state due to her dementia and would end her misery but he didn’t. I guess that was HIS revenge on her for her “confession” After saying she hated him and was going to kill him when he was a child. But we all know Oz is a pathological liar. So everyone in this didn’t get what they truly wanted. That’s the end theme as it were.
Honestly I thought that woman at the end was his girlfriend, you know the leader of the prostitutes. Then it turned out to be his mom, but it was all in his mind correct? The murdering of Victor was needless and felt rushed but we both knew he would die and all it proves is that Oz is truly a monster. Makes me wish that his mother DID have him killed by that guy as a child. If anyone deserves it, it’s him.
Again this is some real bad juju here, makes me feel dirty by evening watching these events unfold. But good show, I’m just glad that it’s at and end. The last scene with the bat signal in the sky was the perfect way to bring Batman “into” this and end it. Nice touch! That’s my take on everything, hope you enjoyed it.
