With all the hate this is getting, I want to watch it streaming for free, of course. I don't want to pay money to see this shit.
I think streaming services should have all the Psycho films (1-4). Of course, 2-4 aren't as classic and as good as the first one, which you can see in the discussions on their own boards. Some people may want to see some extra story or different twists for the character Norman Bates, which happens in 2-4. Psycho II has some names of quality like you mentioned, Jerry Goldsmith and also the screenplay by Tom Holland, who did the now classic 1980's vampire movie, Fright Night (he was probably allowed to make that movie due to the success of Psycho II). Of course, if 1-4 are on the streaming services you can always just watch the original Psycho and ignore 2-4.
Yes. I think for the entire month, Svengoolie will show a double feature. This coming Saturday it'll be Son of Frankenstein followed by The Monster Challenged the World. After that a bunch of Sventoonie episodes.
There's too many to list, but Iron Maiden, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones are really good.
>I love Margheriti’s use of models.
He's famous for that, right? I know less about Margheriti than about Argento and Fulci, his movies seem harder to locate.
Because it was in the book? There's also more racist lines in the book, the ghosts in the hotel are racist.
I'll check them all out. I like Margheriti.
He's great in his two Fulci films. I think I watched either Hunters of the Golden Cobra or The Ark of the Sun God but don't remember much about them, probably because the picture quality was so shit. I'm reading about The Last Hunter now and definitely plan on watching it.
This movie was made in 1979, when John Lennon was still alive. The "we all shine on" lyrics probably influenced Stephen King.
Yeah, I like most of his stuff. He can be pretty funny. His first album, Freak Out, might be my favorite.
Loved as Thulsa Doom, Darth Vader's voice and King Jaffe Joffer. RIP
Do you still feel this way? I remember watching it a while back and liking it. It may be time for a rewatch.
I hope it's good. There was a shitty one already (FD 4), but it's still sort of entertaining.
And have stormtroopers on stage with him.
Because of culture war shit and politics are all in TV and movies now. It used to be subtle in the past, it's more in your face now.
TCM 1 & 2, and a toss up between Poltergeist, The Funhouse, Lifeforce and Invaders from Mars.
I'll probably watch this at the theater. I'm bored and the ticket is cheap ($6).
Thanks for the link! I'll have fun watching these.
Ngl, that sounds fun. Moving to some forgotten country and becoming an Olympic athlete.
I haven't seen all his movies but I like The Last Shark, 1990: The Bronx Warriors and The New Barbarians. An alternative top three would be Street Law, The Big Racket and Keoma.
