How about Richard Lynch? He was oozing smarmy menace in The Seven Ups (1973) Yeah! I was there also, great post! Agreed 100% The early 70s were an amazing time for music & film. The film presents a small microcosm of white people set in a specific time in history. That’s it. 1973 was a long time ago They found Charley by way of Al Dutcher and the bowling alley Agreed! Thx for that! I agree with that! Terrifying stuff This was the one year female version of Boyhood. Loved them both! Tough bunch here I’ve seen a lot of movies this past year and Lady Bird makes my top three What movies would all the lady birder haters recommend for 2017? Very entertaining! It kept me giggling all the way through His second best straw Dogs was his best imo Love the Getaway though on so many levels IT is a coming of age film that is equal parts Steven king , Steven Spielberg and a long big budget episode of Goosebumps. For preteens to enjoy I believe he was the killer, the bar scene clinched it for me I think the new Chief lied and didn’t want to give Dixon ( who he hated) the credit Maybe he didn’t ignore it but, chose not to give Dixon the credit If you like slightly surreal Coen style thrillers then this is for you. They make it to Idaho, Mildred recognizes the killer from the gift shop and they blow him away. His DNA does match and the the police chief is exposed for withholding the earlier DNA sample. Reason being is that the chief hated Dixon. Agreed! VERY Coenesque I love the score! It’s dissonant, angular and gritty, like NYC in the film
